Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pembimbing skripsi mahasiswa oleh dosen pembimbing di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey eksploratif terhadap kinerja dosen pembimbing skripsi, sebagai bahan masukan untuk pengembangan pedoman penulisan skrpsi dan upaya peningkatan kualitan pembimbingan skripsi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang sedang dalam pembimbingan skripsi dan alumi. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan angket penilaian kinerja dosen dalam pembimbingan skripsi. Jumlah sampel yang telibat sebanyak 269 responden. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ketersediaan buka pedoman penulisan skripsi sangat membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan pembimbingan baik bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa, (2) Pola pembimbingan secara umum telah dilaksanakan secara rutin dan terjadwal melalui kegiatan tatap muka, korespondensi, dan melaui email, (3) Hasil analisis data dari tiga aspek penilaian diketahui bahwa aspek kedisiplinan sebesar 74% dalam kategori cukup disiplin, aspek kompetensi profesionalisme dosen sebesar 77% dalam kategori cukup kompeten, dan aspek kompetensi sosial dan kepribadian sebesar 66% dalam kategori cukup kompeten. Rekomendasi yang disampaikan adalah perlunya komitmen jadwal pelaksanaan pembimbingan sehingga masing-masing memiliki tanggung jawab untuk melakukan kegiatan pembimbingan secara terjadwal.
This study aims to develop learning tools in Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Medan State University. The specific objectives of this research are to develop: 1) Course Leaning Outcomes (CLO), 2) Learning Outcomes (LO), 3) Indicators of Achievement of Learning Objectives, and 4) Study Material on Industrial Engineering learning. The research method used is Research and Development. The research sample is lecturers and students who use the KKNI curriculum. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation study for analyzing the needs of developing learning devices. Interviews, questionnaires and classroom observation sheets are conducted to see the needs of learning activities in class. The results showed that the implementation of industrial engineering learning began from the design of superior products from areas of expertise of interest to students to produce engineering results of student ideas; The Semester Learning Plan is designed for: 1) Course Leaning Outcomes, 2) Leaning Outcomes, 3) Indicators of Achievement of Learning Objectives, and 4) Study Materials. The study material developed is the analysis of customer needs, analysis of market competition, identification of equipment and material needs in accordance with the product to be made, the determination of product specifications, determination of minimum equipment requirements in manufacturing products, work steps to manufacture products effective and efficient, producing ideas of engineering works in accordance with the field of expertise, designing product exhibitions of ideas of engineering works, making reports on ideas of engineering works in the form of scientific articles, carrying out exhibitions of engineering products of ideas and making reports on activities of product exhibitions.
This study aims to describe the training management model of implementing a prototype curriculum to improve teacher competence in developing learning designs in schools and the quality of learning designs that have been developed by teachers as trainees. The descriptive approach was followed in this study. The research sample consisted of 25 teachers from Baitul Aziz High School Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The training management model questionnaire ( 38) and the quality of the instructional design (30) items met the validity and reliability requirements. The conclusion of the study proves that: 1) the prototype curriculum implementation training management model to improve teacher competence in developing learning designs in schools, which refers to management principles starting from the planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation stages are in the good category and feasible to be implemented in the field; 2) the quality of the learning design that has been developed by the teacher as a trainee at Baitul Aziz High School Deli Serdang is in the middle category. 3) Applications used in online learning are WAG and the use of Google Classroom. The results of the teacher's response about the design of online learning have been implemented, that the teachers facilitate students for online learning through WAG and Google Classroom. The results of the study recommend that in the future teacher training is needed to formulate joint learning strategies between students in comfortable, fun, caring conditions and empower students' potential by utilizing IT.
AbstrakStudi ini mengkaji secara deskriptif tentang aktualisasi CSR oleh PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) MOR I – TBBM Sei Siak pada pengembangan KEM di Kelurahan Simpang Tiga Kota Pekan Baru. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah membantu anggota Kelompok Tani Juara dalam mengelola lahan marjinal yang ada di Kelurahan Simpang Tiga di Kota Pekan Baru menjadi lahan yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Pembentukan Kawasan Ekonomi Masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga Kelompok Tani Juara. Saat ini pengelolaan lahan pertanian sudah pada tahap pembersihan lahan dan penanaman bibit cabe rawit dan jeruk nipis serta pembudidayaan ikan lele di KEM Simpang Tiga. Bidang kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah bidang pertanian, peternakan dan perikanan. PERTAMINA (Persero) MOR I - TBBM Sei Siak on the development of KEM in Simpang Tiga Village located in the City of Pekan Baru. The main objective of this activity is to facilitate members of the Kelompok Tani Juara – the local farmers’ community – in managing the use of marginal land in Simpang Tiga Village in Pekan Baru City towards becoming the productive land that has significant economic related-values. The development of the Kelompok Tani Juara as well as local people. Currently, the progress of optimizing the use of KEM Simpang Tiga agricultural land is at the stage of land clearing and planting of Thai chilies and Lime as well as catfish farming EM. Relevant activities were involved including agriculture, livestock and fisheries. This study aims to implement an integrated learning model in an effort to improve student learning outcomes in the Industrial Engineering course at the Faculty of Engineering Unimed. Another research objective is to determine the impact of implementing the integration learning model. The research method used was quasiexperimental. Data collection through a questionnaire to capture the learning impact and the accompanying impact of the integration model implementation. To see the learning outcomes used tests. To see the conditions of higher learning outcomes used the t test. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students using the integration learning model were higher when compared to student learning outcomes using an expository learning model in which they conducted experiments in the workshop. The impact of the implementation of the integrated learning model is that there is an increase in learning outcomes, besides the accompanying impact is the growth of creativity, selfdetermination, student motivation in producing innovative products based on the specifications of the study program chosen.Keywords: Implementation of Integration learning Model.
