Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang timbul saat ini sehingga diberlakukannya sistem belajar dari rumah secara online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan mengungkapkan pendapat mahasiswa mengenai kualitas pembelajaran di masa Study From Home. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UHN sebanyak 72 responden. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pembelajaran selama mahasiswa melakukan sistem study from home. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) sistem belajar ini dipandang baik oleh responden (mahasiswa) dan dilengkapi fasilitas yang mendukung proses pembelajaran di masa study from home; (2) selama study from home, responden (mahasiswa) berusaha untuk belajar dan memahami setiap materi dengan media yang tersedia; serta (3) tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa banyaknya mahasiswa yang melakukan kerja sama dalam mengerjakan tugas.
Berbagai teknologi dipakai dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam dunia pendidikan. Ada beberapa aplikasi bersifat interaktif yang bisa dipergunakan guru dan juga para peserta didik untuk belajar matematika. Salah satunya yaitu penggunaan google classroom. Pemanfaatan goolge classroom ini dapat membuat kelas maya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis google classroom dalam menyongsong era revolusi industri 4.0 terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen non-equivalent control group desain. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika pada siswa yang diajar tanpa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis goolge classroom dan kelas yang diajar dengan penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis goolge classroom. Disamping itu, penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis google classroom lebih efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI dibanding pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis google classroom.
Mathematics is one of the subjects that until now students still think mathematics is difficult. This indication can be seen from the low learning achievement of students at the education level so that students' interest in learning mathematics is low. Good mathematics learning achievement will not be achieved optimally if students do not have an interest in learning. The low results obtained in students' mathematics can be seen from the scores obtained by students during learning at school. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a positive and significant influence of interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement of class X students of SMK Swasta Persiapan Pematangsiantar. This study uses this type of quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design research methods. The population in this study was class X as many as 8 classes in Pematangsiantar Preparation Private Vocational School. The number of samples taken was 30 students, namely class X TBSM-2. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (Questionnaire) and pre test - post test. The results of the study were to find out how much positive and significant interest in learning mathematics had on mathematics learning achievement for class X students of SMK Swasta Persiapan Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023. Questionnaire of interest in learning mathematics in class X belongs to the high category with an average of 72. Learning achievement is based on pre-test and post-test questions with an average score of 62 and 79,6. The results of data analysis show that interest in learning (X) has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement in mathematics (Y) which is indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.495. The results of the analysis of determination indicate that the variable of student interest in learning (X) has an effect of 24.5% on the variable of student achievement (Y), while the remaining 75,5% is influenced by internal factors or external factors which were not examined in this study. Because t count 3.168 is greater than t table 2,467, with sig 0.001 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that “There is a positive and significant effect of interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement in class X SMK Swasta Persiapan Pematangsiantar T.A 2022 /2023.
Integral is one of the main subjects in the school mathematics curriculum and is the compulsory subject in the Mathematics Education Study Program at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University, namely the Integral calculus course. Therefore the status of this material is the subject matter for SMA/MK students and students in mathematics education study programs. This study aims to discover how to develop integral calculus to improve the mathematical reasoning abilities of mathematics education students at HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University. Research on the development of integral calculus teaching materials uses the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Initial and limited field trials were conducted at the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) HKBP University Nommensen Pematangsiantar. The normality analysis of gain (n-gain) in the experimental student class has increased with an average n-gain value of 0.87. Feasibility of Integral Calculus Teaching Materials Integral Calculus obtained percentage values from experts and subjects studied as follows: (1) Post-test scores reached an average of 83 compared to pretest average scores of 48, there was a significant increase. This shows an increase in learning outcomes after using the results of the product development of Integral Calculus teaching materials. Acquisition of the development value of Integral Calculus Teaching Materials has a high level of attractiveness based on the assessment of material/content experts reaching 93.75%; (2) The acquisition of the value of developing Integral Calculus has a high level of attractiveness based on the assessment of design experts getting 86.53%. Also, the importance of developing Integral Calculus has a high level of beauty based on field test assessments reaching 91%.
HKBP Nommensen Universitas Pematangsiantar melakukan pengabdian masyarakat di kantor DPRD Kota Pematangsiantar, dimana pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendukung kinerja DPRD Kota Pematangsiantar khususnya dalam menanggulangi permasalahan sampah sesuai dengan peraturan daerah yang berlaku. Pelayanan ini mendapat respon yang baik dan diapresiasi oleh Ketua Komisi 3 DPRD Pematangsiantar. Tingkat kepuasan peserta PKM juga mencapai 80%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berdampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat Kota Pemangsiantar. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini terjalin kerjasama antara pihak universitas dengan pemerintah daerah yang bertujuan untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat.
