Ações de Educação Ambiental relacionadas a morcegos são essenciais para que haja maior disseminação de informações a respeito da importância destes animais. Neste trabalho investigou-se as Representações Sociais de estudantes do Ensino Médio, de Goioerê – Paraná, a respeito de morcegos. A teoria das Representações Sociais foi utilizada para a coleta de dados, ocorrida no primeiro trimestre de 2019. Os alunos demonstraram determinado conhecimento sobre a morfologia e os hábitos dos morcegos, porém, ficou evidente a relação que os mesmos fazem entre morcegos, lendas e personagens de ficção, revelando a necessidade de serem implementadas ações de Ensino de Ciências e Educação Ambiental, que desmistifiquem esses animais.Palavras-chave: Ciências Ambientais. A partir da década de 80, a preocupação em torno dos problemas ambientais tem se acentuado. Este entendimento tem mobilizado as instituições a promover novas práticas que possam minimizar os impactos das ações humanas ao meio ambiente. Neste estudo, apresentam-se os resultados referente as representações sociais de estudantes de um curso técnico em informática sobre problemas ambientais. Os dados foram coletados por meio da técnica de evocação livre de palavras e analisados a partir da abordagem estruturalista da Teoria das Representações Sociais, em uma turma de primeiro ano de um curso técnico em informática, no noroeste do Paraná. Identificamos que as representações dos estudantes apresentaram uma visão ecológica dos problemas ambientais, desconsiderando aspectos sociais.
O advento das tecnologias tem impulsionado inúmeras transformações sociais que modificaram nossa forma de agir e se relacionar com o mundo. Esse processo convoca a educação a repensar seus próprios processos de ensino, buscando alternativas para proporcionar uma aprendizagem efetiva e que atenda as demandas sociais. Dentre essas alternativas surgem as Metodologias Ativas, cujo enfoque propõe que o estudante seja estimulado a assumir uma postura ativa em relação a produção do saber. Nesse cenário, o professor atua como orientador e facilitador da aprendizagem e não apenas o detentor do conhecimento. Sendo os professores um grupo que partilha da mesma realidade social, essa pesquisa procurou compreender as Representações Sociais de um grupo de professores de Ensino Médio integrado de um Colégio situado no noroeste do Paraná a partir do termo indutor “Metodologias Ativas” por meio da Técnica de Evocação Livre de Palavras. Identificou-se que os professores associam o termo “Metodologias Ativas” como atividade prática, ensino, métodos e estudante ativo. Apesar dos elementos direcionarem para uma prática pedagógica menos expositiva, foi possível identificar que o grupo pesquisado entende essa forma de ensinar baseada nos métodos utilizados e não ao processo de ativar o aluno, o que denota necessidade de ampliar a discussão sobre essa temática no ambiente educacional.
