Pada paper ini, spasi grid yang non-uniform (tidak seragam) digunakan untuk meningkatkan akurasi pada metode finite difference time domain (FDTD). Pada umumnya, metode FDTD menggunakan grid seragam (uniform) sehingga pada kasus dengan perubahan potensial yang besar membutuhkan spasi grid yang cukup kecil dan jumlah grid yang banyak untuk mendapatkan akurasi yang diinginkan. Dengan spasi grid tidak seragam, posisi titik grid disesuaikan dengan perubahan potensial sehingga akurasi tinggi dapat diperoleh tanpa menambah jumlah grid. Pada paper ini, komparasi hasil metode FDTD dengan grid uniform dan non-uniform untuk sistem partikel di dalam potensial konstan (kotak) dan tidak konstan (osilator harmonik) diberikan. Sesuai ekspektasi, hasil numerik menunjukkan bahwa penurunan akurasi diperoleh dengan menggunakan grid non-uniform untuk kasus potensial konstan, tetapi terjadi peningkatan akurasi untuk kasus potensial tidak konstan.
Entanglement merupakan sifat keterikatan antar partikel pada suatu sistem kuantum. Ukuran keterikatannya dapat diketahui dengan mencari nilai entropi entanglement pada sistem tersebut. Sistem kuantum yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Sistem Kuantum Model Dicke yang terdiri dari medan radiasi elektromagnetik mode tunggal dan N-atom dua level. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konstanta kopling terhadap entropi entanglement dan dinamika sistem. Simulasi dinamika sistem dilakukan dengan dengan modul Quantum Toolbox in Python (QuTiP). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa konstanta kopling berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai entropi entanglement. Semakin besar nilai konstanta kopling yang digunakan maka nilai entropi entanglement akan meningkat. Selain itu terdapat nilai entropi entanglement maksimum untuk N lebih besar dari satu. Konstanta kopling juga perpengaruh terhadap dinamika sistem yaitu semakin besar nilai konstanta kopling maka semakin banyak keadaan kuantum yang dapat dicapai oleh atom.KATA KUNCI: dinamika sistem kuantum model dicke; entropi entanglement; konstanta kopling; QuTiP.
