Gender issues at the workplaces receive immense importance from the researchers all over the world. This study emphasizes on the core questions: how men and women maintain networks in the organizations and whether their networking strategies are different from each other. Most of the studies on this issue conducted so far are mainly based on the developed economic-based nations. This particular study however looks into this issue in the context of a developing economy of Bangladesh. By taking an old, well-reputed and large public University as a case, this study concludes that men and women have different networking strategies. Women's networks mainly revolve around women. Moreover, women are not that much interested in establishing and maintaining networks like men in the workplaces. Rather, women remain more concerned with their family affairs. These situations apparently do not directly beneficial to women on a whole. Working women are deprived from recruitment, promotion and obtaining strategic positions at the workplaces. Men, on the other hand, due to their solid and significant social networking manage to maintain positive working avenues and therefore secure their positions further.

As a result of the data extraction, 1075 public tweets were collected through the search API. The simple algorithm is capable to facilitating the process
This article studies exceptional indigenous-spiritual affections for ecological preservation through practicing a simple life. The main initiative of this study is to understand nature preservation practices of two communities of diverse continents – the Ammatoans and Arabs. The article is not designed to compare both, but a mere effort to link the indigenous-spiritual practices in respecting nature for ensuring sustainable resources on earth today through nature preservation i.e. forest, pasture and alike. The Arabs’ concept of “al-Hima” is a reflection of the Ammatoans’ “kinship mindfulness” – a new concept which this article is proposing. The article found the mindful intention, attention and attitude towards the forest in the Ammatoan’s kinship system mirror to the ancient old practice of grassland preservation among the Arabs. The data found that Ammatoans have huge respect for their forest. They are fully aware of the necessity to preserve the forest not only because the forest is an asset but most importantly is part of their spiritual life. To be mindful, they are guided by the Pasang Ri-Kajang – their indigenous handbook that obligates for forest preservation. The Ammatoan’s “kinship mindfulness” of West Sulawesi is particularly consistent with the "al-Hima” of the Arabs in the Middle East.
Unemployment is higher among young workers, particularly females. Part of the solution rests at the tertiary levels. The article views that undergraduates must have career knowledge, particularly in entrepreneurship, upon their graduation. This can be achieved through students' advisory system at each university. The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is chosen as a case. The research is conducted in the view that IIUM's advisory system is not used to the maximum. The mentors (teachers/lecturers) and mentees (undergraduates) are not really able to utilize the advisory system in the most effective way. It has an unfixed sense of connectedness in the life of the undergraduates. This situation may lead them graduated unprepared for the employment. Thus, it is sensible to investigate the possibility of utilizing the IIUM's advisory system towards employment prospects, using entrepreneurship modules for the benefits of female and male students. The samples are chosen among IIUM students within the age group of 22 to 26 for survey and interview designs. The design of the survey is to obtain statistics that describes particular descriptive aspects of the students, entrepreneurship embedded content in the academic program and the advisory system. In addition, the design of the interview is to capture the qualitative opinions of the students in regards to their aspiration in career upon graduation through the advisory system. This research concludes that an effective advisory system leads to career planning and employment chances particularly entrepreneurship among female graduates. The advisory system must foster the culture of connectedness between mentor-mentee in entrepreneurial skills for greater undergraduate employability prospects.
Recently, there has been an increase in cases of domestic violence in Malaysia especially during the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) following the Covid-19 pandemic. In most cases, the marriage abused with domestic violence will usually end up with divorce. However, in Islamic law, there is a concept of reconciliation and the issue arises if the divorce is due to domestic violence, is the wife i.e the victim obliged to follow her husband if the husband wants to reconcile to them in a state of iddah? Therefore, this research seeks to identify the issue of reconciliation in divorce caused by domestic violence cases based on Islamic and Malaysian law. Hence, using qualitative methods of research, the issues are examined from the relevant literature including primary and secondary materials, governing statutes in Malaysia and from the Islamic perspective based on Qur'an, Sunnah, and views of Muslim jurists as well as contemporary Islamic scholars. The research finds that the main objective of reconciliation is to rehabilitate the relationship between husband and wife and the principle of reconciliation in Malaysian law is in line with the principle of Islamic law.
Social media is an open platform to communicate, share and exchange information freely. This uncontrolled exchanged information carries out both negative and positive impacts in others’ lives. In this regard, this study aims to identify ethical issues on this information in line with Ibn Khaldun’s ethical considerations. Out of many other social networking sites, Twitter has been identified as one of the most popular microblogging social networking platforms. Using a simple algorithm in R programming and 43 keywords based on Ibn Khaldun’s thoughts, 1075 public tweets have been extracted from Twitter as a sample of ethical issues. The sentiment analysis in Parallel Dots was performed on the collected tweets, and it was discovered that 700 of the tweets are positive statements, 229 are neutral statements, and 146 are negative statements. Having done the validation process on these sentiments, the study proposed these identified ethical issues from tweets as a domain in developing ontology relationships with Ibn Khaldun’s thoughts. In this process, further study can be carried on with wider data from various sources beyond the limitation of this study. Thus, a semantic database could serve as a guideline for SNS ethical issues based on Ibn Khaldun’s thoughts.
