ABSTRACT BSM assists the Malang City Government in fostering, training and assisting the people of Malang City who are incorporated in BSM customers in 3R (Reuse, Reduse, Recycle) waste management from household sources. The BSM unit was established which was strengthened from the SK of the Central BSM in Malang, and not the personal owner or RT / RW. The issues that are prioritized in the PKM (community partnership program) activities are the target audience of economically unproductive community partners, namely the BST (Waste Bank Tirtarona) and BSM (Community Waste Bank) partners. The two partners whose initial existence was productive but which are still not optimal and have not been utilized according to the objectives of BSM. The purpose of the community waste management partnership program in the kecamatan area. lowokwaru Malang City to optimize waste management productivity according to the purpose of the establishment of the Waste Bank organization in creating peace, and comfort in community life. Specific targets to be achieved empower RT / RW waste managers as partners of Malang City BSM in managing / managing waste independently. Starting from receiving garbage, sorting, administering, weighing, processing up to the reporting stage as a form of BSM organizational evaluation to be able to contribute to its environment. The method used is the dissemination of the benefits of BSM waste management, activating the BSM work program by inviting the management with training and mentoring activities, comparative studies, helping waste production equipment and assisting in the renovation of BSM buildings. The results of the implementation of the community partnership program were found; 1). BSM Unit management model that is centralized, meaning that all activities are still based on the RT / RW chairman's instructions in the local environment. The Chairperson of BSM works on the recommendation of the chairman of the PKK RW driving team where the land is established by BSM. 2) the condition of the human resources of the majority BSM management from the age of 60 and above, thus influencing the performance in carrying out the BSM work program. 3). BSM community conditions are in urban areas whose activities are busy working, so that they often become obstacles for the organizers to carry out social activities.
<p><span lang="EN-US">Community service activities aim to increase motivation and help parents in parenting. The method consists of several stages: (1). Counseling for parents by motivating parents to support their children's learning, material delivery activities, sharing sessions, ending with questions and answers, (2). Counselling for students, mainly grades 5 and 6, who will face exams to be motivated to study harder. The activities consist of delivering motivational materials for students, question and answer activities, and writing letters to their parents containing the goals that students want to achieve. Implementing the motivation and parenting classes goes according to the planned program. Parents and students were enthusiastic about participating in this training. Some suggestions include the need for regular mentoring activities, bearing in mind the limited knowledge of the community regarding parenting because parents are the first and primary source of education for children.</span></p>
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen (Quasi Experiment), dengan nonrandomized control group pretest-postest design. Penelitian eksperimen ini mengkaji dua variabel, yaitu: (1) variabel bebas yaitu penerapan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, (2) variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar siswa dalam aspek kognitif. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 47 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes berupa soal uraian (essay). Data gain score dianalisis dengan uji-t untuk membedakan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Analisis dibantu dengan Software SPSS for 16.0 Windows dan dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5% (< 0.05). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan strategi pembelajaran inkuri terbimbing berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan signifikansi 2-tailed 0,00 sehingga probabilitas (p) < 0,05. Kata Kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, Hasil Belajar Geografi PENDAHULUANMenurut Degeng (1997), bahwa strategi pembelajaran dijadikan sebagai penataan cara-cara yang digunakan dalam kondisi pembelajaran tertentu, sehingga terwujud urutan langkah-langkah prosedural yang dapat dipakai untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Sedangkan menurut Webster dalam Good & Brophy (1997) bahwa inkuiri adalah suatu tindakan atau suatu keadaan dalam mencari kebenaran. Keterangan atau pengetahuan tentang suatu hal untuk mendapatkan informasi atau pemahaman. Strategi pembelajaran inkuiri memiliki beberapa keunggulan, di antaranya menekankan kepada pengembangan aspek belajar secara seimbang, memberikan ruang kepada siswa untuk belajar sesuai dengan gaya belajar. Selain itu inkuiri dianggap sesuai dengan perkembangan psikologi belajar modern yang mengangap belajar sebagai proses perubahan tingkah laku berkat adanya pengalaman. Keuntungan lain adalah strategi pembelajaran ini dapat melayani kebutuhan siswa yang memiliki hasil belajar di atas rata-rata. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa, siswa menjadi pusat (Student Center) dalam pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru di kelas.Permasalahannya, bahwa interaksi pembelajaran lebih didominasi oleh peran guru, di lain pihak siswa hanya menyimak dan mendengarkan informasi atau pengetahuan.
