El presente estudio relacional cumplió el objetivo de analizar el comportamiento de las actividades turísticas en los ecuatorianos antes y después del estado de excepción, a través de la estadística inferencial en una muestra representativa (probabilística–aleatorio simple). Las variables de estudio fueron: actividades turísticas, gasto, frecuencia e integración familiar. La muestra estuvo conformada por 1205 personas. Se aplicaron dos encuestas en dos momentos diferentes, la primera encuesta se aplicó del 10 al 17 de abril del 2020 y la segunda encuesta se aplicó del 11 al 18 de septiembre del 2020. Para el análisis de los datos se usó el programa SPSS (prueba de Wilcoxon). También, se estimó la media poblacional de las cuatro variables de estudio, arribando así a los siguientes resultados y conclusiones; existe el 10,39% de reducción en la práctica de actividades turísticas, el 34% de reducción del gasto promedio, el 43,41% de incremento en la frecuencia con la que practican las nuevas actividades y el 26,46% de reducción en integración familiar en los ecuatorianos después del estado de excepción.
El presente trabajo nació del interés académico de complementar los conocimientos teóricos aprendidos en el aula, con los conocimientos prácticos obtenidos en el trabajo de campo (giras académicas), a través del levantamiento de información primaria y secundaria; en este caso en particular, nació como un proyecto formativo en la carrera de Turismo de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. Se trabajó con 13 paralelos distribuidos en los 9 ciclos académicos de la carrera, con un total de 366 estudiantes y 13 docentes tutores. Se empleó como metodología para el presente proyecto de investigación el Manual Generación de Rutas e Itinerarios Turísticos del Ministerio de Turismo del Ecuador, identificando, categorizando, georeferenciando, mapeando y describiendo 194 atractivos turísticos, y proponiendo 9 rutas turísticas alternas con su respectivo itinerario turístico y mapas de rutas alternas recorridas en el Ecuador Continental, ofreciendo tanto a los turistas nacionales como a los turistas internacionales nuevas alternativas para hacer turismo en el país.
Tradicionalmente, en el sector de las telecomunicaciones a nivel mundial ha ido presentado a lo largo de los años cambios en su estructura, así como barreras de entrada al mundo tecnológico. Muchas empresas estatales incluidas las empresas estatales ecuatorianas, desarrollaban sus estrategias de negocio en base de los monopolios de las grandes empresas que dominan la tecnología mundial. Sin embargo en los últimos años éstas barreras de entrada y de acceso han ido cayendo paulatinamente dando paso a múltiples nuevos agentes o tecnologías para competir en un entorno más competitivo.
