O objetivo da pesquisa é analisar as representações sociais da mudança de práticas sócio-educativas entre funcionários da Fundação Estadual do Bem-Estar do Menor de São Paulo (FEBEM-SP). Fundamenta-se na teoria moscoviciana das representações sociais. A "mudança" foi contextualizada com base na Psicologia das Minorias Ativas. Foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com 15 funcionários de uma unidade que se propunha a erradicar qualquer tipo de violência física contra o adolescente ator de ato infracional. A Análise de Conteúdo Temática identificou três temas-chave: "A proposta", "FEBEM-SP" e "Mudança". O núcleo figurativo da representação social da mudança situa-se em torno da violência física. Se compactuarem com esse tipo de violência, os profissionais contribuem para a consolidação dos métodos tradicionais da instituição. Negá-la significa romper e buscar práticas sócio-educativas mais humanistas, nem sempre vistas como possíveis. Representações sociais arcaicas veiculadas na instituição, fundadas na punição e na violência, dificultam a mudança de suas práticas sócio-educativas.
O objetivo deste artigo é examinar a visão da realidade (ou do espaço) social no pensamento de Pierre Bourdieu e na teoria das representações sociais (TRS) de Serge Moscovici, tomando por desencadeador uma discussão sobre a noção de campo, proposta por Bourdieu, particularmente quando expõe a sociologia do gosto, e a noção de grupo na TRS. Na sociologia de Bourdieu, o campo é organizado por princípios como capital econômico e capital cultural, supondo lutas no espaço social, conforme posições sociais, habitus e práticas culturais dos agentes. Na teoria das representações sociais (TRS), os grupos, em suas comunicações, voltam-se para o campo de um objeto que os mobiliza, supondo igualdade na relação de seus membros ao construírem um conhecimento do senso comum, consensual, a respeito desse objeto. Em uma sociologia do gosto dos artistas, por exemplo, o sociólogo de inspiração bourdiesiana pode fazer também um quadro das práticas sociais desse grupo, não somente as referentes a um único objeto (arte). Porém, Bourdieu parece não se ater ao estudo de grupos. Paralelamente, pode-se reprovar os estudiosos de representação social por nem sempre darem importância suficiente à base dos objetos materiais. Os dois autores têm em comum o fato de privilegiarem a dimensão simbólica na construção da realidade social. Têm também como desafio comum superar a dicotomia subjetividade x objetividade na relação indivíduo-sociedade. Por meio dessa aproximação conceitual, o texto busca constituir um olhar psicossocial para a educação, particularmente a escola, sem adotar de antemão uma teoria (TRS) em detrimento da outra (Bourdieu), mas problematizando-as reciprocamente.
O objetivo do trabalho é investigar as representações sociais de alunas de Pedagogia construídas sobre o trabalho docente durante o segundo ano do curso. A pesquisa busca relacionar teoricamente representações sociais, saberes docentes e experiência. Foi realizada em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior privada do estado de São Paulo, com 20 alunas. Solicitou-se uma redação com o título: “Relate como o segundo ano do curso contribuiu para sua formação como futura professora”. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de enunciação, procedimento que se apóia na análise do processo discursivo, procurando captar o momento em que os sujeitos estão organizando suas idéias para expressá-las. Nesta etapa da formação, as representações sociais sobre o trabalho do professor refletem inúmeras dificuldades, afetivas e sociais, mas também a necessidade de criticar a realidade profissional visando mudanças. NestE contexto, o estágio aparece como possibilidade de relacionar teoria e prática, colocando em questão a teoria.
