The postpartum period is one of the critical transition periods in women's lives, both physically and psychologically. The low quality of life for women, especially postpartum mothers, is caused by the postpartum period's needs in the form of physical, psychological, and social needs. Women who have an essential role, mature basis and quality of life are important to measure postpartum care accuracy. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the quality of postnatal life in the work area of Mertoyudan I Health Center, Magelang Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The number of samples in this study was 60 postpartum mothers. The research instrument was a questionnaire on demographic factors (age, education, residence status, occupation, stage), obstetric questionnaires (parity, type of baby present, history of pregnancy, history of abortion, desired pregnancy, and breastfeeding factors), and the Postpartum Quality of Life questionnaire. (PQOL). The study results with the results of the Chi-Square statistical test prove that there is an influence of demographic factors including age, education, and stage variables on the quality of life postpartum with p-value 0.003 <0.05, p-value 0.001 <0.05, and p-value 0.002 <0.05. Obstetric factors including parity, history of complications, history of abortion, desired pregnancy, and breastfeeding factors influence the quality of life postpartum with p-value <0.050, p-value <003, p-value <0.040, p-value <0.000, p-value value <0.017, and p-value <0.002.
Penyakit coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) adalah infeksi saluran pernapasan yang disebabkan oleh coronavirus yang baru muncul yang pertama dikenali muncul di Wuhan, Tiongkok, pada bulan Desember 2019. Pengurutan genetika virus ini mengindikasikan bahwa virus ini berjenis betacoronavirus yang terkait erat dengan virus SARS (1). Program pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia saat ini masih diprioritaskan pada upaya peningkatan derajat kesehatan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Kebutuhan asuhan persalinan normal yang diberikan pada pasien tetap perlu di berikan dengan memperhatikan kondisi masih berlangsungnya pandemi COVID-19 serta tindakan yang perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasinya di tingkat keluarga. Perencanaan persalinan dapat dilakukan manakala ibu, suami dan keluarga memiliki pengetahuan mengenai resiko tinggi dan tanda-tanda bahaya kehamilan serta bahaya COVID-19. Pada masa pandemi COVID-19 banyak hal dalam pelayanan kebidanan perlu adanya penyesuaian pelayanan sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan. Permasalahan kesehatan ibu dan anak menjadi hal yang perlu perhatian dalam kesuksesan program-program kesehatan khususnya ibu dan anak untuk menurunkan jumlah angka morbiditas dan mortalitas di tengah pandemic COVID-19. Hal inilah menjadi dasar STIKes Karya Husada Semarang melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk seminar online nasional mengenai Asuhan Psikis Dan Fisik Pada Persalinan Normal oleh PMB Di Masa COVID-19. Seminar online nasional ini telah memberikan sumbangsih khususnya untuk bidan praktik untuk membangun kemandirian dan pemberdayaan diri sehingga mampu memberikan APN sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan pada masa pandemic virus COVID-19.
Background: Postpartum mothers are potentially susceptible to postpartum care complications, such as postpartum blues and depression. SPEOS is a combination of endorphin massage techniques, oxytocin massage, and positive suggestions to improve life quality after childbirth. Aim: This study aimed to prove the SPEOS method's effectiveness on postpartum mothers' quality of life. Methods: This research was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted in Mertoyudan I Primary Health Center and Mertoyudan II Health Center. The research subjects were 22 postpartum mothers taken using a simple random sampling technique. The independent variable in this study was the SPEOS method, and the dependent variable was the quality of life. The instrument used was the PQOL questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: The quality of postpartum mothers life scores increased (mean = 177.55 to 182.45, CI = 95%, p = 0.000), SPEOS method was more effective in improving the quality of life of post partum mothers (mean difference = 4.9, CI = 95%, p = 0,000). Perkembangan dan pertumbuhan bayi penting dijadikan perhatian khusus bagi orangtua, khususnya ibu. Tumbuh kembang pada balita adalah proses yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan seseorang. Masa lima tahun pertama ini biasa disebut dengan golden periode, karena pada masa ini tumbuh kembang anak menentukan masa depan secara fisik, mental maupun perilaku. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah adanya gangguan tumbuh kembang pada bayi dan balita adalah dengan melakukan stimulasi tumbuh kembang dan didukungnya pengetahuan ibu yang baik terkait pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi balita. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan metode small group discussion dan tanya jawab. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan ibu sesuai umur bayi dan balitanya menjadi 5 kelompok kemudian tiap kelompok didampingi 1 tutor untuk dilakukan penyuluhan dan pendampingan ibu dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu terkait stimulasi tumbuh kembang pada bayi balitanya. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 45 ibu bayi/balita.
