<p>ABSTRAK</p><p><br />Kota Pekanbaru merupakan salah satu kota yang banyak didatangi oleh imigran dengan alasan <br />mencari suaka. Imigran asal Afghanistan merupakan pencari suaka yang terbanyak menghuni Rumah<br />Detensi Kota Pekanbaru. Selama berada di Kota Pekanbaru mengakibatkan imigran pencari suaka <br />asal Afganistan ini tidak bisa menghindari kontak antarbudaya, sehingga penyesuaian atau adaptasi<br />komunikasi antarbudaya terjadi karena latar belakang budaya yang berbeda. Salah satu cara dalam<br />berkomunikasi antar budaya untuk mencapai mutual understanding dinamakan dengan akomodasi<br />komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses konvergensi dan divergensi dalam<br />akomodasi komunikasi antarbudaya yang dihadapi imigran gelap asal afganistan dengan masyarakat<br />pribumi selama di Kota Pekanbaru. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Akomodasi<br />Komunikasi dari Howard Giles. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif<br />dari hasil wawancara dan pengamatan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya<br />motivasi konvergensi yang dilakukan imigran asal afganistan untuk mengadaptasikan perilaku verbal<br />dan nonverbal ketika berinteraksi dengan masyarakat pribumi Kota Pekanbaru meskipun mereka<br />memiliki kecenderungan divergensi dalam akomodasi komunikasi antarbudaya dengan masyarakat<br />pribumi Kota Pekanbaru.</p>
<p>TikTok users who experience fear of missing out behavior is a new phenomenon in the development of TikTok social media. This study aims to know the meaning of TikTok social media for TikTok users who experience Fear of Missing Out behavior. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach and uses qualitative research data analysis techniques according to the analysis of the Miles & Hubermen model. The results show that the utilization and use of TikTok for TikTok users who experience fear of missing out behavior are influenced by 2 motives, firstly, past motives (because motives) which are classified as sociogenetic motives, in the form of curiosity motives, documentation motives and future motives (in order). To motive which are classified as sociogenetic motives, namely curiosity motives, self-esteem motives, and competence motives, there are also biological motives, namely eliminating boredom as well as improving the mood where a person needs rest activities. Meanwhile, the meaning of TikTok for TikTok users who experience fear of missing out behavior is as a medium of information, as a versatile and functional medium, and as a space for creativity.</p>
This study aims to determine the governance of oil palm downstream development in technopolitan areas of Pelalawan Regency. This research method was carried out qualitatively by analyzing the object of study. First, the development of oil palm down streaming in technopolitan areas, second, the potential for oil palm down streaming in technopolitan areas and third, governance of oil palm downstream development in technopolitan areas. The development of downstream oil palm in technopolitan areas facilitates the development of ideas, innovations, and know-how from the utilization of oil palm derivative products that have a high selling value and downstream oil palm becomes a support for government, academia, business and the community in implementing Good Agricultural Practice (GAP). The development of governance oil palm downstream in Pelalawan Regency is implemented in an integrated, competitive and sustainable approach. The development with such governance makes it possible for every stakeholders and the community (independent farmers) to receive economic, social, and environmental benefits from the development of technopolitan areas in Pelalawan Regency.
Banyak cara yang dilakukan manusia dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungannya yang baru. Salah satunya dengan mengikuti alur dan suasana di lingkungan baru tersebut. Adaptasi dalam konteks komunikasi lintas budaya berkaitan erat dengan adapatasi budaya dan adaptasi sosial. Pencari suaka merupakan pendatang baru yang dalam hal ini sebagai orang yang memiliki budaya minoritas dimana mereka dituntut harus mampu beradaptasi agar mereka dapat mempertahankan kehidupan dan dapat berkembang dengan baik di tempat yang memiliki budaya yang mayoritas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui bagaimana proses komunikasi adaptasi lintas budaya yang dilakukan oleh pencari suaka dalam berinteraksi dengan sasyarakat Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Interaksi Simbolik, Teori Akomodasi Komunikasi, serta Teori Adaptasi Lintas Budaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Kualitatif dengan Pendekatan Fenomenologi Alfred Schutz. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap para pencari suaka, observasi, serta studi dokumentasi dari para pencari suaka dalam beraktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil dari penelitin ini adalah komunikasi adaptasi lintas budaya yang dilakukan oleh pencari suaka dilakukan melalui dua strategi, yakni strategi konvergensi dan strategi divergensi. Strategi Konvergensi dilakukan dengan komunikasi verbal, komunikasi nonverbal, adaptasi berdasarkan kesamaan agama, cara berpakaian, serta beradaptasi denga iklim di Kota Pekanbaru. Startegi divergensi yang dilakukan oleh pencari suaka secara verbal ketika berada di dalam grup mereka lebih cenderung menggunakan bahasa daerah mereka meskipun kondisinya pada saat itu mereka berada di tengah masyarakat Kota Pekanbaru. Para pencari suaka tidak menghiraukan jarak saat berkomunikasi dan tidak berusaha mengetahui kebutuhan jarak lawan bicaranya dan berusaha mengetahui apakah jarak tersebut membuat nyaman lawan bicaranya disebabkan mereka berinteraksi dengan masyarakat pribumi jika hanya untuk memenuhi keperluannya saja.
