Bahasa merupakan identitas suatu bangsa yang digunakan ketika berinteraksi. Manusia membutuhkan bahasa menjadi alat berkomunikasi. Bahasa memegang peranan penting sebagai alat komunikasi pada kehidupan manusia kerena dengan bahasa manusia bisa saling berinteraksi dan berbicara mengenai apa saja. Bahasa Indonesia merupakan bahasa yang dipakai hampir pada semua daerah Indonesia dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Sebagai bahasa persatuan haruslah mempunyai struktur yang jelas dengan memakai kata baku supaya menjadi bahasa yang baik dan benar dan mudah dipahami.
Language is the most effective communication tool in social interaction. When communicating, communicative language skills are certainly needed by anyone, including children and parents. Parents have a very important role to play in improving communicative language mastery for early childhood. By using communicative language, it is expected to have a positive impact on children's language development. So, children are not only passive language users, but also become active language users. Abstrak: Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang paling efektif dalam berinteraksi sosial. Saat berkomunikasi, kemampuan berbahasa yang komunikatif tentu sangat diperlukan oleh siapa saja, termasuk anak-anak dan orang tua. Orang tua memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan penguasaan bahasa yang komunikatif untuk anakusia dini. Dengan menggunakan bahasa yang komunikatif, diharapkan akan membawa dampak yang positif terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak. Jadi, anak-anak tidak hanya sebagai pengguna bahasa yang pasif, tetapi juga menjadi pengguna bahasa yang aktif. Kata kunci: bahasa, komunikatif, anak usia dini A. PendahuluanKeterampilan berbahasa anak tidak diperoleh secara otomatis atau diperoleh begitu saja, tetapi ada usaha yang dilakukan guru dan orang tua untuk memperoleh keterampilan bahasa tersebut. Salah satu yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berbahasa anak adalah lingkungan. Semakin besar pengaruh yang diberikan lingkungan tehadap bahasa, semakin besar pula kontribusinya bagi peningkatan keterampilan anak dalam berbahasa. Dari pernyataan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perkembangan keterampilan berbahasa sangat dipengaruhi oleh sikap dan perilaku lingkungannya. Oleh karena itu, orang tua sebagai lingkungan yang pertama dan utama bagi kehidupan manusia sangat menentukan tingkat kemampuan berbahasa anak.
This article discusses the history, motifs, and functions of the Batu Bara Malay songket woven fabric. Coal Malay songket woven cloth is a traditional cloth that is the cultural heritage of the Batu Bara community. Historically, the Coal Malay songket woven fabric has existed since 1823, while the shapes and motifs used in the Coal Malay songket woven fabric are usually in the form of plants and nature. The Batu Bara Malay songket woven cloth serves as a symbol and identity for the Malay community in Batu Bara. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a historical approach. The results showed that the use of the Batu Bara Malay songket woven fabric had existed since the reign of the Batu Bara Sultanate, at that time the Batu Bara community had begun to recognize the materials and threads used to make songket woven fabrics. Since its inception until now, the Malay Coal songket woven cloth has been used for various traditional activities. Almost every traditional Malay ceremony and activity always uses songket. The motifs and colors used in the Batu Bara Malay songket used to reflect the strata or social status of the person who wore it.
This article aims to discuss the history of the Serdang Sultanate Palace. The Serdang Sultanate is one of the Malay Sultanates of East Sumatra, a fraction of the Deli Sultanate, which is centered in the Province of North Sumatra. The establishment of the Serdang Sultanate Palace began when Tuanku Umar Johan Pahlawan Alam Shah Vocational Junjungan built the Tanjung Puteri Palace. Tuanku Umar was the first Sultan of Serdang to build the Tanjung Puteri Palace in 1750. The Serdang Sultanate Palace is a relic of the Sultanate that was previously built to be a resting place or throne for the Serdang Sultanate at that time, in addition to being a resting place, the Serdang Sultanate Palace was also a place to perform various activities. Activities and government systems in carrying out any activities that are closely related to the Sultanate. This research uses the historical method with an archaeological approach. The historical method is used to describe events that occurred in the past. The archaeological approach is used to find information about the relics of the Serdang Sultanate Palace as historical relics. According to Grahme Clark, who wrote his theory in Archeology and Society, archeology is a systematic study of ancient objects as a tool to reconstruct the past.
<p align="center">Abstrak</p><p>Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui peran keluarga dalam menanamkan literasi sejak dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi literatur. Langkah awal dalam menyusun kerangka penelitian dengan metode heuristik, yaitu mengumpulkan sumber dan data yang diperlukan yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan tema penelitian yang diangkat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa sumber jurnal, skripsi dan buku yang terkait dengan penelitian. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, <em>display</em> data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran keluarga untuk menanamkan literasi sejak dini sangat penting dan dapat memberikan pengalaman baru untuk orang tua dan anak mengenai kegiatan literasi.</p><p>Kata kunci: peran keluarga, literasi, anak usia dini</p><p> </p><p align="center"><em>Abstract</em></p><p><em>The purpose of writing this article is to find out the role of the family in instilling literacy from an early age. The research method used in this article is a literature study. The first step in developing a research framework using the heuristic method is to collect the necessary sources and data that are related to the research theme raised. Data collection techniques used are in the form of sources of journals, theses and books related to research. Then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and draw conclusions. The results of the study can be concluded that the role of the family to instill literacy from an early age is very important and can provide new experiences for parents and children regarding literacy activities.</em></p><p><em>Keywords: family role, literacy, early childhood</em></p>
