<p>The research aims to find out types of code-switching and code-mixing, the functions of code-switching and code-mixing in the English teaching-learning process. The method of this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is English teachers’ utterances in teaching English as a foreign language, the teacher’s language of instructions. The results of the research are: 1) the students and teachers used code-switching and code-mixing in the process of communication in the classroom; 2) in code-switching, they used inter- sentential, intra- sentential, and tag switching; 3) in code-mixing, they used alternation and insertion; 4) the functions of code-switching include reiteration, message qualification, personalization, referential, and poetic; 5) the function of code-mixing is to draw students’ attention in learning. The findings imply that code-switching and code-mixing are necessary to facilitate learning.</p>
This research aims to determine partially and simultaneously whether the level of education, level of income, level of awareness, and level of service affect community motivation in paying land and building taxes in the Village of Lemang, West Rangsang District, Meranti Islands Regency. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative analysis using validity and reliability testing, multiple analysis, classic assumption test, t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this research partially indicate that the level of education is positive and significant for community motivation. The level of income is positive and significant for community motivation. The level of awareness is positive and significant for community motivation and the level of service is negative and not significant for community motivation. Simultaneously the level of education, level of income, level of awareness and level of service significantly influence community motivation with a large influence of 71.3%.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning melalui aplikasi Google Classroom terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi Eksperimen Design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kawali yang berjumlah 216 siswa. Sample penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA 1 dengan jumlah 36 siswa, teknik pengambilan sample secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, dengan mengacu pada indikator berpikir kritis menurut Piaw yaitu inferensi, mengenal asumsi, dan interpretasi. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara statistik. Hasil perhitungan uji Z (α = 5% ) pada nilaii gain diperoleh nilai z hitung sebesar 1,92>1,64. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah penerapan Model Problem Based Learning melalui Google Classroom terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada sub Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan di SMA Negeri 1 Kawali berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci : PBL, Keterampilan Berpikir kritis, Google Classroom
Kanker payudara adalah sebuah penyakit berupa tumor ganas yang menyerang jaringan payudara. Pencegahan sekunder adalah melakukan skrining kanker payudara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat metode skrining kanker payudara yang efektif untuk dilakukan. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelusuran Literature review dengan mencari jurnal database (Google Scholar dan PubMed) antara tahun 2019 sampai 2021 pencarian dan proses seleksi literatur dalam penelitian menggunakan diagram PRISMA. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dalam melakukan skrining kanker payudara langkah awal yang efektif adalah SADARI dan SADANIS karena lebih murah. Metode Mammografi dianggap efektif karena memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi tetapi harganya cukup mahal.
