RésuméCette étude propose une analyse de ce que l’on nomme généralement les erreurs cohésives, phénomène que nous trouvons plus adéquat de désigner par le terme de « problèmes d’orientation référentielle » et pour lequel nous proposons une grille d’analyse comprenant sept catégories majeures définies en extension et illustrées à partir d’exemples tirés d'un corpus de performances discursives orales de sujets francophones normaux. Notre étude présente les principales caractéristiques suivantes en fonction de la documentation disponible : i) une approche du phénomène principalement déterminée par la perspective de l’interlocuteur, ii) la prise en considération du caractère dynamique du cotexte et du contexte d’énonciation, iii) la formulation de prédictions globales relativement aux moyens cohésifs susceptibles ou non d’être la source de tels problèmes, et plus spécifiquement, en regard des principaux moyens cohésifs impliqués pour chaque type de problème identifié, et finalement iv) la mise en rapport de la cohésion avec d’autres niveaux de structuration de l’analyse du discours, principalement la cohérence, la macrostructure et la pragmatique.
