Resumo: No presente artigo, discute-se o conceito de dṛśya kāvya (visível poesia) da tradição cênica indiana como proposta de dramaturgia do corpo. Partindo do impacto que as tradições cênicas asiáticas provocaram no teatro europeu no século XX, são analisados alguns conceitos e técnicas de atuação do teatro-dança clássico indiano (em particular, Orissi e Kathakali), baseadas na tradução da palavra em gesto corporal. Questiona-se também a relevância dessa discussão para um teatro que busca distanciar-se de um modelo logocêntrico, numa perspectiva intercultural.
A partir da leitura de textos de Jerzy Grotowski, de seus colaboradores e biógrafo, o artigo investiga diversos aspectos da relação do artista e pensador polonês com a cultura indiana: a raiz dessa ligação na sua infância; a relação com o teatro oriental em geral e o teatro indiano em particular; a relação com o Yoga e suas implicações nos fundamentos de seu trabalho; as viagens à Índia e a outros países, no contexto de suas pesquisas; o cerne de sua pesquisa entendido como uma espécie de yoga; as relações de suas pesquisas com o contexto do interculturalismo europeu e suas implicações éticas e culturais.
RESUMO Resenha sobre o livro Trabalho de Voz e Corpo de Zygmunt Molik: o legado de Jerzy Grotowski, composto a partir de entrevistas concedidas por Molik ao pesquisador italiano Giuliano Campo. No livro, o ator e diretor polonês faz uma reflexão sobre sua trajetória artística, pontuada pelas perguntas e observações de Campo. A resenha ressalta os elos entre o trabalho de Molik e a trajetória dos principais artistas do Teatro Laboratório de Jerzy Grotowski.
