Students' attitudes and self-efficacy are very important in science subjects. With a good attitude and self-efficacy, learning will be easier and more enjoyable. This study aims to examine the attitudes and self-efficacy of female and male students from two classes, namely VII A and VII B in junior high school. This research is a type of quantitative survey research. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the research subjects as many as 74 junior high school students studying science. The instrument used in data collection was 28 questions containing 5 choices that must be filled out by students. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of descriptive analysis and T test and correlation test to determine whether there is a comparison and relationship between students' attitudes and efficacy towards science. The results obtained indicate that there are significant differences and relationships between attitudes and self-efficacy of female and male students. These results indicate that male students have an average attitude and good self-efficacy compared to female students at the junior high school level
This learning skill is a thing that supports the implementation of a good learning process. Monotonous learning will be difficult to accept, this causes students to be lazy to do assignments because of the applied education system. This study aims to analyze the comparison of interest and science processes and to determine the relationship between students' interest and science process skills between women and men in science subjects. The method in this research is comparative quantitative data analysis. Where comparative is research that compares two or more variables. The results of this study are the t-test of students' science process skills on science lessons for both female and male students, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the science process skills of class VII A and class VII B students. Class VII A and class VII B students. Science process skills In science subjects for class VII A, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between interest and science process skills between female and male students as well as in grades VII A and B. This research is very important to do because there are not many studies that compare the interests and skills of the science process with several tests that are used. It is very useful to know about the comparison of interests and skills of the science process in each class and the comparison of indicators that will be used.
This study aims to determine the differences and the relationship between interest and science process skills with 80 female students and 56 male students. This research uses quantitative methods so that this research is more systematic and objective. The sampling technique used in this study used simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used using hypotheses in the form of normality, linearity and homogeneity tests and assumption tests in the form of T test and correlation test. From the results of the T test and correlation test, it was found that there were differences and relationships between the sexes in the interests and skills of class VIIA and VIIB. In this case it is evidenced by a significant value 0.05. Thus, the higher the interest of students, the higher the skills of students according to their gender. It can be said that success can be seen from the level of understanding, mastery of the material, and student achievement. The higher the understanding and mastery as well as learning achievement, the higher the level of learning success.
