Neste trabalho, tratamos sobre a relação entre a formação teórico-metodológica e a prática de professores em formação docente inicial participantes do PIBID, a fim de compreender de quais conceitos relativos às etapas de revisão e de reescrita esses sujeitos apropriam-se e como refletem-se em suas atuações no momento de fazer intervenções em textos de estudantes do Ensino Fundamental. Para tanto, sustentamo-nos na perspectiva enunciativo discursiva e na concepção dialógica de linguagem, oriunda do Círculo de Bakhtin (BAKHTIN, 2003; BAKHTIN/VOLOCHÍNOV, 2006); no conceito de escrita como trabalho (FIAD; MAYRINK-SABINSON, 1991; MENEGASSI, 2016); nas reflexões sobre revisão e reescrita, a partir de estudos de Menegassi (1998) e Ruiz (2010). A metodologia advém do aporte da Linguística Aplicada (MOITA-LOPES, 2006) e da pesquisa-ação (THIOLLENT, 2005; TRIPP, 2005), já que possibilitamos a formação teórico-metodológica e a relacionamos à análise da prática de revisão e reescrita de textos, em situação de ensino. Nossas análises consideram, portanto: a) a formação proporcionada pelo PIBID; b) a atuação dos professores no processo de revisão e reescrita. Dos registros da pesquisa, observamos como os conceitos de revisão e de reescrita são apropriados pelos professores e revelados em suas atuações no processo de produção textual no Ensino Fundamental, chegando à conclusão de que os professores apropriam-se dos seguintes conceitos: a) revisão e reescrita como etapas processuais, recursivas e dialógicas; b) vários tipos de correção e suas respectivas funções; c) reescrita como etapa que se materializa por meio das operações linguístico-discursivas.
