A coleta de dados fundamenta a sistematização da assistência de enfermagem, metodologia que permite ao enfermeiro aplicar os conhecimentos técnico-científicos que embasam a profissão. Este estudo objetivou elaborar um instrumento de coleta de dados visando o registro de forma eficiente e validá-lo em sua forma aparente e de conteúdo. Investigamos os sinais e sintomas freqüentemente encontrados em clientes de um Centro de Terapia Intensiva-Adulto e os categorizamos em Necessidades Humanas Básicas. Posteriormente, o instrumento foi submetido a validações aparente e de conteúdo. Com relação à estrutura do instrumento, foi detectada a necessidade de reduzí-lo, tornando-o mais prático. Quanto ao conteúdo, os juízes concordaram que este seria suficiente para o estabelecimento dos diagnósticos de enfermagem, favorecendo o desenvolvimento da sistematização da assistência ao paciente crítico, em Centro de Terapia Intensiva.
Objetivos: identificar a percepção dos enfermeiros sobre o acolhimento e analisar sua articulação com os fundamentos da Política Nacional de Humanização (PNH). Método: pesquisa qualitativa, com 14 enfermeiros que atuam no Pronto-Socorro Adulto do Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro. Os dados foram coletados em dezembro de 2015, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e analisados conforme análise de conteúdo. Resultados: emergiram as categorias: o acolhimento como atendimento inicial, em que o acolhimento é descrito como ação na entrada do usuário no serviço; acolhimento com vistas à humanização, demonstrando entendimento e aplicação de acordo com a PNH; dificuldades para desenvolver o acolhimento devido à sobrecarga de trabalho, a falta de fluxo e de infraestrutura. Conclusões: os enfermeiros demonstraram compreender o significado de acolhimento. Porém, existem pontos frágeis na aplicabilidade, merecendo atenção dos gerentes de saúde para efetivar que os princípios da PNH sejam garantidos.
A humanização na assistência tem sido um tema preconizado por várias instituições preocupadas em desenvolver um cuidado integral ao cliente, analisando-o em sua totalidade, dentro de um contexto. A finalidade deste estudo foi compreender o significado de holismo para o enfermeiro. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo descritivo realizado em 2007, tendo como sujeitos 12 enfermeiros de um hospital de Minas Gerais, sendo realizada entrevista semi-estruturada. Na analise dos dados utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo, da qual se originaram duas categorias, com suas respectivas subcategorias: o holismo e sua complexidade, com as subcategorias a integralidade, o indivíduo, o cliente, a harmonia multiprofissional e o lúdico; e o holismo e sua prática hospitalar, com as subcategorias interação cliente-cliente, interação enfermeiro-cliente, interação enfermeiro-família e dificuldades na promoção da assistência holística. Diante da análise dos dados, pode-se concluir que o conhecimento dos enfermeiros sobre a definição de holismo é incipiente, embora as formas de assistência que estas fornecem podem ser consideradas de forma integral. Sugere-se aqui a implantação de programas de educação continuada que trabalhem mais profundamente com as idéias da Política Nacional de Humanização. Objetivou apresentar os resultados do estudo de validade de construto do Índice de Humanização dos Serviços de Saúde. Estudo metodológico de validação de indicadores de avaliação em saúde, desenvolvido em um complexo hospitalar e unidades de atenção primária e especializada, na cidade de Uberaba, estado de Minas Gerais. Participaram 312 trabalhadores, 211 usuários e 49 gestores, entre novembro de 2013 e março de 2014. As medidas de adequação da amostra indicaram ser possível uma solução fatorial. Foram nomeados 7 fatores na dimensão trabalho, 7 fatores na dimensão usuário e 3 fatores na dimensão gestão. O instrumento proposto atende aos requisitos psicométricos preconizados, podendo ser utilizado para avaliar a percepção de trabalhadores, usuários e gestores sobre aspectos da humanização dos serviços de saúde.
