Chemical engineering unit operations used in the processing of crude soybean oil to lecithin are defined and discussed. The unit operations of fluid flow, centrifugal separation, filtration, and heat transfer are discussed as they relate to commercial plant design. The types of equipment available for these unit operations and the merits of some particular types are discussed. The flow of a typical commercial plant is shown with utility consumption estimates.
Anak-anak sering bermasalah dalam mengonsumsi makanan yang memenuhi kebutuhan gizi karena anak-anak cenderung memilih makanan tertentu yang disukai saja. Hasil riset Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Upaya Kesehatan Masyarakat pada tahun 2014 menyebutkan bahwa sebesar 98,4% remaja kurang konsumsi sayur dan buah. Usia remaja pada umumnya dikaitkan dengan usia sekolah yaitu siswa SMP. Golongan usia SMP pada umumnya memiliki kebiasaan untuk memilih dan membeli sendiri makanan yang dikonsumsi. Pemilihan makanan pada usia ini bukan didasarkan pada manfaat kesehatan, namun lebih kepada warna yang menarik dan rasa yang sesuai dengan lidah. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa SMP tentang manfaat dari buah dan sayur dan kreasi makanan sehat berbahan buah dan sayur. Berdasarkan penjelasan tersebut maka perlu disiasati agar anak-anak tetap mendapatkan asupan buah dan sayur, salah satunya adalah melalui makanan penutup yaitu sorbet. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang manfaat buah dan sayur dan workshop tentang kreasi sorbet berbahan buah dan sayur. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa SMP dari Sekolah Lentera Harapan (SLH) Curug. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan persiapan, antara lain berkoordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, penyusunan materi dan uji coba produk. Tahap kedua adalah mengadakan penyuluhan maupun workshop untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang manfaat buah dan sayur serta kreasi sorbet berbahan buah dan sayur. Tahap terakhir merupakan tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar diikuti oleh 30 siswa dan para peserta mendapatkan edukasi tentang sorbet dan cara membuatnya.
Spiritual tourism is a form of tourism where one of the objectives is to seek peace of mind and spirituality. Spiritual tourism has been around for a long time, but recently it has experienced an increasing trend with many young people needing a break from their routine and seeking spiritual peace. There are various choices of spiritual tourism destinations, but there are still few studies that find out the background of tourists' decision making to visit. This study was conducted to try to find out this. This study uses two price and attractiveness variables as the antecedent variables of the decision to visit. The study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to tourists taking spiritual tourism trips to St. Mary Grotto Kerep Ambarawa. The results of the questionnaire were then processed using multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study show that both price and attractiveness have an influence on tourists' visiting decisions to a spiritual tourism destination.
The era of globalization demands product innovation and competitiveness, followed by HR capabilities and digital marketing. This is an obstacle to the development of MSMEs that are competitive and support the community's economy. Micro, Small and Medium enterprises and large businesses in the tourism sector are not only supporting the community's economy but also as an effort to meet the needs of tourists while visiting destinations, and one of them is Palembang City. For this reason, MSME products such as crafts and culinary in Palembang city need to be strengthened through partnerships with large businesses. This study aims to examine the partnership opportunities of MSMEs and large businesses in the tourism sector that focus on the quality of human resources, regulations, funding and market in Palembang City. This paper aims to examine that behind the strengthening programs carried out by the government, there are many difficulties that are being faced by MSME actors in partnering. Data were analyzed using NVIVO12 software for coding, categorize and merging themes and then interpreting the data. The results of the study indicate that the quality of MSME human resources in Palembang City still requires various training and knowledge regarding business management and product innovation.
