ÖZ: Çalışmanın amacı, okul öncesi eğitimde aile katılımının gerçekleştirilmesinde öğretmenlerin ve ebeveynlerin sahip oldukları engellerin ve karşılaştıkları sorunların nitel veri toplama araçları kullanılarak az sayıda katılımcı ile derinlemesine incelenmesidir. Araştırma Adana ili Çukurova ilçesinde Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı bir bağımsız anaokulunda görev yapan iki öğretmen ve bu öğretmenlerin sınıfına devam eden 28 çocuğun ebeveynleri ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden olan durum araştırması olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak görüşme ve gözlemlerden yararlanılmıştır. Veriler üzerinde içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, katılımcı öğretmenlerin aile katılımının arttırılması, aile katılımı engelleri, aile katılımı açısından okul-aile iletişiminde kendilerine düşen sorumluluklar ile ebeveynlerle aile katılımı açısından yaşadıkları sorunlar hakkında yeterli bilgi ve farkındalığa sahip olmadıkları belirlenmiştir. Ebeveynlerin okulla iletişim kurmaya ve çocuklarının eğitimlerine katılmaya istekli oldukları ancak nasıl katılımda bulunabilecekleri hakkında bilgilerinin olmadığı, okul ve öğretmen tarafından yeterince desteklenmedikleri ve okul yönetimi ve öğretmenlerle aile katılımı açısından iletişim sorunları yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Hem öğretmenlerin hem de ebeveynlerin aile katılımı açısından bazı engellerinin olduğu saptanmıştır. The study was conducted with two teachers who worked in an independent kindergarten affiliated to the Directorate of National Education in the province of Çukurova, Adana and the parents of 28 children from the class of these teachers. This study was conducted as a case study of qualitative research designs. Interview and observation were used as data collection tools in the research. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that the participating teachers did not have sufficient knowledge and awareness about the problems they experienced in terms of family participation with parents, family participation barriers, responsibility for family-school communication in terms of family participation and increasing parental involvement. It was determined that parents were willing to communicate with the school and participate in their children's education, but that they had no information about how they could participate, were not adequately
The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between preschool teachers' cognitive flexibility levels, mindfulness levels, self-efficacy perceptions, and to specify whether cognitive flexibility and mindfulness of preschool teacher predict self-efficacy of preschool teacher. Study group of the research, in which the relational scanning model was used, consists of 230 preschool teachers working in the spring term of the 2020-2021 academic year. “Cognitive Flexibility Inventory”, “Conscious Awareness Scale”, "Preschool Teachers' Self-Efficacy Beliefs Scale", and "Personal Information Form" were applied as data collection tool. In the analysis of the data, Independent Samples t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Pearson Correlation and Regression Analysis were utilised. Regarding the research, it was found that cognitive flexibility, mindfulness and self-efficacy of preschool teachers were positively and significantly related to each other. Additionally, it was concluded that cognitive flexibility and mindfulness significantly predicted self-efficacy perception.
