China has announced One Belt one Road "OBOR" policy in 2013. CPEC is the offshoot of Chinese OBOR policy and become as one of the leading project under OBOR and the source of highest foreign investment in Pakistan ever came. Logistics certainly assumes basic job in each nation's financial advancement. Without all around created logistics industry in Pakistan, CPEC would not be appeared. Be that as it may, this area was not adequately secured by the reciprocal arrangements among China and Pakistan. In current scenario there is no structure consent to manage strategic course of action under CPEC. To determine this and related issues, a complete logistics and transport system understanding will be proposed, which is the focal point of this paper. Besides administration, legal issues, arrangement problems in the way of accomplishing sustainable economic progress are enormous worries for a developing nation like Pakistan. In authors view, some vital lawful and open strategy perspectives will be considered by Pakistan. This research paper will talk about these in detail. Firstly, logistics progress and consequences on Pakistan economy. Secondly, investigation of CPEC logistics venture duties and exceptionally lawful character of logistics speculation MOU's marked by the two nations. Thirdly, current lawful framework identified with logistics interest in association with CPEC. Fourthly, the issues emerging from current logistics investment and lastly proposed far reaching logistics venture structure understanding. Contribution/ Originality: The paper's primary contribution is finding that comprehensive analysis of logistics and transport agreements between China and Pakistan over CPEC investment. A socio legal research combine with examination of domestic and international agreements and treaties further contributes to ascertain the best model of logistics investments in Pakistan. This research paper anticipates future economic and legal problems which Pakistan may encounter.
A Child marriage is a serious issue in Pakistani society particularly in rural areas and interior Sindh province. The reasons and forms of child marriages are very harmful and against the fundamental rights of children granted by various international and domestic laws. The practice causes severe effects not only to children but also to society as a whole. This article discusses the legislative efforts made by the United Nations and the international community to restrain child marriages around the globe. The issue of child marriages is discussed under the ambit of human rights and women’s rights and highlighted in various conventions and treaties. State parties are bound to make their domestic laws according to the essence of such conventions and treaties. Similarly, Islamic law holds an important position in domestic laws of Pakistan. Therefore, the issue is analysed in light of Islamic law as well as international law. This research identifies and analyze the available international, Islamic and domestic legal instruments that are relevant to help in restrain of child marriage. The methodology employed in this research is qualitative method of legal case study, where by researchers analyzed secondary sources including articles, books, reports, online web sites and court cases. After the analysis of the available data and legal instruments, this research finds that i) child marriage in Pakistani society are practiced arbitrarily, ii) very young spouses are not having opportunity to pursue their post marriage education, iii) the community, especially female, are not aware of the existence of legal assistance in the legal system to protect them from such early marriage; iv) available laws in Pakistan are inadequate in restraining of the practice, v) equality promoted in the Constitution of Pakistan is not strictly followed by authorities, vi) although, international conventions condemn the practice but there is no proper international law sanction to prohibit child marriage vii) Islamic law permits a guardian of a child to marry off his ward before she attains puberty but the marriage can only be consummated after she attained puberty. The tourism industry is considered most important aspect for the progress of the economy as well as enhancing employment rate of the country. Tourism sector comprises on different activities such as, hotels, restaurants, tour operators, transportation management and providing services to the local and foreign clients at their destinations. Furthermore, tourism industry is also very important to bring foreign currency in the country through the visitors which consequently enhance the foreign reserves. However, there is deficiency of prescribed rules and regulations for Pakistan tourism sector particularly environmental agreements and their enforcement consequently it creates many operational as well as market-based issues, hence drops the progress rate of this sector. Pakistan is also one of those countries where tourism business and services are being dealt without any proper regulatory system and it can further disturb the tourism investment by the Chinese or domestic investors under CPEC projects. There is strong connection between tourism business development and better logistics infrastructure and facilities of roads and railway sectors. This research article provides an analysis of tourism development in Pakistan through well planed physical infrastructure in order to get better results from tourism investments. In this article, authors adopt descriptive approach while providing the information and also explore the benefits and utilisation of CPEC overland logistics investment by the Chinese companies in tourism industry. There is an analytical jurisprudence approach is applied to highlight logistics benefits and preferences between China and Pakistan as well as the changes in environmental agreements. This study concludes that better logistics and transport infrastructure along with comprehensive environmental policies further accelerates tourism business with major trade markets in the country. Positive rearrangement of environmental agreements as well as logistics and transport is helpful to attract foreign investment in the tourism industry and particularly in areas which probably would have capacity to generate revenue. In this manner, tourism sector through developed connectivity and growth of infrastructure creates employment opportunities in the country.
Among other housing developers, the major housing developers are private housing companies and cooperative housing societies, these housing developers can become very effective to achieve the goal of housing for all, but unfortunately, these two have been used to do massive corruption in the housing industry of Pakistan. The major reason is that the legal framework, which is meant to regulate the housing developers, has become an instrument at the hands of housing developers of the housing to commit corruption in the housing industry.
