Telkomsel Call Center Office is the call center service office for 24 hours which is facilitated by the telecommunications operator service companies Telkomsel in order to optimize the quality of service to its customers. Service optimisation is certainly influenced by internal company both in terms of the work system as well as where its taken place. One case study is taken, i.e. Telkomsel Call Center Office in Gedung Infomedia Nusantara -Bandung. Interior design on this Office has not applied optimally where affect the satisfaction of workers, mainly call center agents. This often raises the boredom on the agents whom do their work repeatedly to serve the consumers who don't rarely give them complaints or criticism. Using a research method of qualitative descriptive (comparative analysis of the condition in existing interior design with the theory of psychological space (five aspects which can form a good workplace design)), it is evident that Telkomsel Call Center Office interior design is not applied optimally to support satisfaction of workers in order to optimize its performance.
The Tahfidz Koran boarding school has a specialization curriculum and learning that the model is applied there that is different from the schools in general. Daarut Tauhid Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools that implements an intensive program of memorizing the Koran for Approximately 1 year. This study uses a technique survey questionnaire on perceptions of students towards common room in boarding Tahfidz KoranDaarut Tawhid and found three related items include a pattern of activities, space, and time in the shared spaces, in addition to the privacy issues of students in need of additional facilities and the selection of the type of joint space and time of activities that support learning activities Tahfidz Koran.
In learning activity processes in Islamic boarding schools, students must study and live in a dormitory. It functions to replace a residential home where the privacy aspect should be taken into consideration. This study aims to observe the privacy aspects closely related to the female students' bedrooms, covering six elements examined in five case studies, including the sex-segregated dormitories, the main function of staying, visual privacy on the dimensions height of the windows, acoustic privacy, and olfactory privacy in terms of the connection between dormitory rooms. It was found that the privacy aspect in the dormitory room still lacked attention due to the addition of space functions and bathroom facilities in it. Meanwhile, adding personal facilities, such as storage and study areas, could enhance the students' privacy. Especially for the type of student bedroom, it is necessary to provide a place for drying clothes by utilizing the balcony area. Besides that, it is required to pay attention to the type, dimensions direction of window openings so that the level of privacy of female students will be more optimal.
Many studies show the findings of public facilities' cases still inaccessible to people with disabilities and see the importance of a design, especially in the interior sector, that can produce a built environment that is user-friendly and barrier-free. Accessibility rights for persons with disabilities have been regulated in various regulations ranging from regulations in the central government to laws, government regulations to the minister of public works and regional regulations. There is a regulation of the minister of public works and public housing of the Republic of Indonesia No.14 2017, which regulates the provision of facilities in buildings and environments according to the needs of all age groups and conditions of physical, mental, and intellectual limitations, or sensory-based on the function of the building to make it easier for users and visitors in their activities in public buildings. However, this guideline has not been discussed in detail. This research is intended to review universal design standards in the interior design process, especially in public buildings.
