In the last few decades, heterocyclic compounds have been studied extensively owing to their interesting biological activities. One of them is triazole nucleus which exist in two isomeric forms: 1,2,3-triazole & 1,2,4-triazole. Out of which 1,2,4-triazole nucleus possess broad spectrum of pharmacological activities. This diversity in the pharmacological activity has attracted the attention of many researchers to explore the skeleton for its wide potential. This review summarizes the literature dealing with the conventional and green synthesis of 1,2,4-triazole nucleus.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
