Artiklis käsitletakse vene emakeelega eesti keele õppijate (keeleoskustase B2) kirjalikes narratiivides esinenud liikumissündmusi. Materjaliks on M. Mayeri (1969) sõnadeta pildiraamatu “Frog, where are you?” järgi kirjutatud narratiivid.
Uurimuse informantideks on vene emakeelega eesti keelt kõrgtasemel valdavad eesti keele (võõrkeelena) eriala üliõpilased. Käsitletakse informantide endi arvamusi ja põhjendusi eesti keele objektikäänete valiku kohta ning seostatakse kogutud materjali nii eesti keele grammatika objektikäsitlusega kui ka eesti keele kui teise keele õpetamisega.* Võtmesõnad: keeleõpe, teine keel, introspektsioon, objektikään-ded, eesti keel SissejuhatusTeise keele omandamise uurimiseks pakub huvitavaid võimalusi eesti keele kui teise keele puhul veel väga vähe kasutatud introspektiivsete meetodite rakendamine. Niisuguse lähenemisviisi puhul kogutakse empiiriline materjal informantide suulise küsitlemise teel, eeldades, et keeleõppijad suudavad ise jälgida ja kirjeldada mentaalseid protsesse, mis juhivad nende keelelisi tegevusi.Introspektiivsete meetodite kasutamisvõimalustest teise keele omandamise uurimisel ning nende meetodite liigitusest annavad ülevaate Claus Faerch ja Gabriele Kasper (1987) a) aruanne (self-report) õppijate üldised kirjeldused selle kohta, milliseid õppimisharjumusi endal arvatakse olevat ja milliseks keeleõppijaks ennast peetakse; b) enesevaatlus (self-observation) spetsiifilise keelelise käitumise vaatlemine, jaguneb omakorda introspektsiooniks ja retrospektsiooniks;EESTI RAKENDUSLINGVISTIKA ÜHINGU AASTARAAMAT 2, 185202 * Artikkel on valminud sihtfinantseeritava teadusteema SF0182568s03 Eesti-vene, eesti-inglise, eesti-saksa, eesti ja romaani keelte kontrastiivne uurimine funktsionaalsel alusel raames.
Artiklis antakse ülevaade keeleõppijate poolt ebakindluse korral rakendatava vältimise olemusest, põhjustest ja liikidest ning tutvustatakse uurimust, mille eesmärgiks on välja selgitada eesti keele täis- ja osasihitise eristuse vältimise võimalused ja avaldumisvormid. Informantideks on vene emakeelega eesti keele (võõrkeelena) eriala üliõpilased (kaks keeleoskuselt eri tasemel rühma), keeleaines on kogutud vabast suulisest ja kirjalikust keelekasutusest ning testülesannetest, võrdlusmaterjalina kasutatakse emakeelekõnelejate andmeid. Õppijate vaba keelekasutuse materjali põhjal vaadeldakse eelkõige täissihitise vältimise võimalusi (osasihitise ületarvitus tingib täissihitise alatarvituse, mis on käsitletav vältimisena), testülesanded võimaldavad jälgida ka sihitise täielikku vältimist ning selle seost õppijate keeleoskuse tasemega
Ülevaade. Artiklis esitatakse kõrgtasemel eesti keelt teise keelena kõnelejate kirjalikust keelekasutusest kogutud vigade liigitus esinemissageduse alusel. Võrdlusmaterjaliks on sama haridusega eesti keelt emakeelena kõnelejate analoogilistest kirjutistest pärit keelevead. Lingvistide jaoks on keelevead huvitav uurimisala, mille puhul tuleb kindlasti arvestada keele kasutusvaldkonda, kust materjal on kogutud. On selge, et näiteks formaalses kirjalikus tekstis esinevaid õigekeelsusvigu ei saa samastada vabas vestluses ette tulevate normingust kõrvalekalletega. Seega tuleks vigu määratledes ja analüüsides kindlasti kirjeldada konteksti, milles need on tehtud. Käesolev artikkel keskendub eesti keelt teise keelena kõnelejate keelevigadele, võrdluseks esitatakse emakeelekõnelejate keelekasutusest kogutud andmed, uurimismaterjal on pärit eksamitöödeks kirjutatud esseedest.
The article gives an overview of the studies conducted at the University of Tartu on Estonian as a second language and of the methodology and study aids designed for learning and teaching Estonian. While several BA theses have been defended on the acquisition of Estonian as a second language, there are but few MA theses and only one PhD the-sis on the topic, leaving this research area still largely uncharted. Various traditional and interactive study aids have been designed at the Department of Estonian as a Foreign Language; the aim is to cre-ate web-based study aids for learners of Estonian. Future prospects for research at the University of Tartu on Estonian as a second language depend on the relevant units being able to attract young researchers who are interested in the topic and who can form a research team to study it.
