ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of an ergonomic intervention based on the furniture adjustment in relation to stress, fatigue, well-being and musculoskeletal symptoms. Thirty office workers were divided into two groups (experimental [EG] and control [CG]) and compared before and 6 months after the intervention through questionnaires. The CG received no intervention. GE has improved musculoskeletal symptoms, fatigue and work demands, but it was not statistically significant. Although the beneficial effects of the intervention have been observed, further studies are needed on this subject with larger number of workers.
