Introduction: Organization commitment is an important variable in understanding employee behavior that has a serious effect on organizational performance. Employees not only have to have expertise, empowerment and competence, but they also have to have organizational commitment. Therefore, the level of attachment and commitment of the nurses to their organization can influence their clinical competence. The research was conducted to identify the factors that influence nursing organizational commitment.Methods: The literature review employed the Scopus, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Ebsco and CINAHL databases to retrieve original articles published between 1999 and 2017. The method used to arrange the literature review started with the topic selection and then the reviewer determined the following keywords: organization commitment, commitment, nursing, health and factors of commitment. Out of the 2.134 articles found, there were 15 journals with a cross-sectional study design that discussed the organizational commitment of nurses.Results: The organizational commitment of care is influenced by many factors, both internal and external. These factors include leadership style, compensation, career development, organizational culture /climate, spiritual health and learning organizations.Conclusion: The factors found above can increase the commitment of nurse organizations in comprehensive health services.
The nursing department often incurs problems about the performance of the nurses in providing nursing care at the hospital. This condition must get the attention of the head of the room as the manager who is directly responsible for the nursing care provided by the implementing nurse. Supervision is a part of the directional function that has the role of maintaining the department so then all programmed activities can be carried out properly and smoothly. This systematic review was conducted to review the effect of clinical supervision on nurse performance. For the systematic review, a literature search of the PubMed, SAGE, Science direct, and Scopus databases using the keywords ‘nursing’, ‘clinical supervision’, ‘clinical performance’ and ‘nurse performance’ was conducted in February 2019. The search identified 15 relevant research articles from the 2.436 original articles and full texts published between 2013 and 2019. The results show that clinical supervision has the potential to improve staff performance, which will ultimately affect the successful attainment of the hospital. Support from the hospital nursing management in providing support and monitoring is critical to the continuity, sustainability and successful implementation of clinical supervision. Clinical supervision activities conducted regularly in a scheduled manner will spur on the nurse’s performance.
Performance appraisal is problematic if it does not describe competence. Design of the research was explorative descriptive research with a research and development approach. The sample was 110 nurses obtained by cluster sampling based on inclusion criteria. Data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. Development of instruments based on Focus Group Discussion and expert discussion. The result show evaluation of components in the nurse performance appraisal system when viewed according to its indicators, most are rated in the sufficient category. Assessment criteria and performance records get enough categories in the highest percentage of 76.4%, evaluation of the standard components of work behavior assessment is mostly not done with percentages above 20%, performance appraisal instruments do not describe the performance of nurses and do not conform to standards.
ABSTRACK Diabetes mellitus patients often experience anxiety disorders so that it can worsen the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients. One of the non-pharmacological actions to reduce anxiety is deep breathing relaxation techniques and dhikr. Knowing the application of deep breathing relaxation and dhikr to reduce anxiety in patients with diabetes mellitus. The design used is descriptive analytic with a case study approach. The sample used in this study amounted to 2 people. The study was conducted in the Ahmad Dahlan room at Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang on April 18-21, 2022, the instrument used in anxiety was the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). Data were collected by means of observation, interviews, examination and study of documentation. Data analysis by comparing theory with data found in patients. The results of the study were obtained before the application of deep breathing relaxation and dhikr in patient I had an anxiety scale of 15 (moderate) and in patient II had an anxiety scale of 13 (mild), and after the application it decreased in patient I with an anxiety scale of 5 (mild) and in patient II with an anxiety scale of 7 (mild). There is an effect of implementing deep breathing relaxation and dhikr on reducing anxiety in diabetes mellitus patients. The application of deep breathing relaxation and dhikr can be used an implementation of nursing with anxiety problems. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan relaksasi napas dalam dan berdzikir untuk menurunkan ansietas pada pasien diabetes melitus. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 orang. Penelitian dilakukan diruang Ahmad Dahlan RS Muhammadiyah Palembang pada tanggal 18- 21 April 2022, Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kecemasan adalah HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, pemeriksaan dan studi dokumentasi. Analisa data dengan membandingkan antara teori dengan data yang ditemukan pada pasien. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebelum dilakukan penerapan relaksasi napas dalam dan berdzikir pada pasien I memiliki skala kecemasan 15 (sedang) dan pada pasien II memiliki skala kecemasan 13 (ringan), dan setelah dilakukan penerapan mengalami penurunan pada pasien I dengan skala kecemasan 5 (ringan) dan pada pasien II dengan skala kecemasan 7 (ringan). Kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan relaksasi napas dalam dan berdzikir terhadap penurunan ansietas pada pasien diabetes melitus. Penerapan relaksasi napas dalam dan berdzikir dapat digunakan sebagai implementasi keperawatan dengan masalah ansietas. Kata Kunci: Relaksasi Napas dalam, Dzikir, Ansietas, Diabetes Melitus
Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer group support in therapeutic community to motivation resident for rehabilitationMethods: The research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. Sampling technique using total sampling with the number of respondents 80 residence. Data collecting technique in this study is to distribute questionnares to respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses Wilcoxon signed rank test.Results: The results of pre-test study 57,5% had low motivation and 27,5% had a moderate motivation, and after getting the intervention in getting resident who has a high motivation to increase to 70%. Conclusion: Peer group support in the implementation of the therapeutic community resident have a significant effect on motivation for rehabilitation.
