O dimensionamento de estoques é essencial para as empresas. Assim, faz-se necessária a busca de metodologias que possam efetivamente conduzir os compradores, para uma melhor análise das necessidades de compras, através de conceitos como estoques de segurança, curvas ABC e PQR, nível de serviço aos clientes e utilização de métodos, com viés estatístico, que sejam mais abrangentes. A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar como uma forma estruturada de análise dos estoques pode ajudar a empresa a melhorar seus resultados e como otimizar seus recursos em uma empresa distribuidora de perfis de alumínio de pequeno porte. A classificação de itens por meio das curvas ABC e PQR, com base na definição dos níveis de serviço dos materiais, técnicas estatísticas, dimensionamento de estoques e aumento da assertividade na compra, facilita a qualificação das informações dos estoques.
Introdução: Os hábitos alimentares da população ocidental atual se baseia no consumo de alimentos ricos em gorduras saturadas e açúcares simples, sendo responsável pelo aumento no quadro de diversas doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, como obesidade, diabetes e dislipidemias, as quais afetam o fígado, órgão essencial para bom funcionamento do organismo. Objetivo: O trabalho teve o objetivo de avaliar o efeito do kombucha e da farinha de banana verde sobre o peso do fígado e enzimas hepáticas de ratos Wistar. Métodos: Trinta e cinco ratos machos e sadios, foram divididos em cinco grupos compostos por 7 animais cada um, sendo eles: Grupo 1: controle (dieta ração comercial) + água ad libitum, Grupo 2: dieta de cafeteria modificada + água ad libitum, Grupo 3: dieta de cafeteria modificada + kombucha, Grupo 4: dieta de cafeteria modificada + farinha de banana verde + água ad libitum, Grupo 5: dieta de cafeteria modificada + farinha de banana verde + kombucha. O experimento ocorreu no período de 45 dias, onde a kombucha e solução salina foram administrados por meio de gavagem. O peso dos animais foi aferido no início do experimento, a cada sete dias e um dia antes do fim do período experimental. Após a eutanásia dos animais foram coletadas amostras biológicas (sangue e fígado) para realização de análise de enzimas aspartato aminotransferase (AST) e alanina aminotransferase (ALT) e analise da relação entre peso corporal e peso do fígado. Resultados: Como resultado foram obtidos os seguintes valores para enzimas aspartato aminotransferase (AST) e alanina aminotransferase (ALT) de cada grupo: 227,14±14,51 U/L e 41,57±7,50 U/L para o Grupo 1; 181,57±73,49 U/L e 47,57±25,51 U/L para o Grupo 2; 235,86±24,79 U/L e 45,57±6,19 U/L para o Grupo 3; 248,71±90,17 U/L e 45,29±9,30 U/L para o Grupo 4; 332,57±94,34 U/L e 50,57±20,59 U/L para o Grupo 5, respectivamente. Os valores obtidos da relação entre peso corporal e peso do fígado foram: 2,42±0,15 g para o Grupo 1; 2,49±0,44 g para o Grupo 2; 2,54±0,38 para o Grupo 3; 2,52±0,24 para o Grupo 4; 2,68±0,42g para o Grupo 5. Conclusão: A maior concentração de ALT no Grupo 5 precisa ser melhor investigada, utilizando-se de histologia do órgão para avaliar se existe alguma lesão. Porém de maneira geral é possível observar que as dietas utilizadas, assim como, o Kombucha e a farinha de banana verde não provocaram efeitos significativos sobre as enzimas hepáticas e peso do órgão. As doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNTs) representam um alarmante agravo nutricional, pois estão diretamente relacionadas a adoção de dieta com padrões ocidentais com alta densidade energética e sedentarismo. Nas DCNTs ocorrem alterações corporais como: excesso de peso, aumento de gordura corporal e redução de massa muscular. Sabe-se que os alimentos funcionais podem ter efeitos benéficos para a saúde como a redução do risco de desenvolvimento de DCNTs, como os probióticos e prebióticos. O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar os efeitos na composição corporal e metabólica do consumo do probiótico kombucha e do prebiótico farinha de banana verde (fbv), em uma dieta de cafeteria em ratos Wistar. Foram utilizados 35 ratos Wistar machos recém desmamados, divididos em 5 grupos, sendo eles: Grupo 1: dieta ração comercial (controle), Grupo 2: dieta de cafeteria, Grupo 3: dieta de cafeteria + kombucha, Grupo 4: dieta de cafeteria + fbv, Grupo 5: dieta de cafeteria + fbv + kombucha. Nos primeiros 10 dias quatro grupos passaram por indução a obesidade pelo consumo de dieta de cafeteria. O grupo controle consumiu ração comercial e todos tiveram água ad libitum. Durante o período experimental de 45 dias os animais receberam kombucha e solução salina por gavagem, com a dose de 5ml/kg de peso do animal. Antes da eutanásia foi realizada a aferição do comprimento naso-anal e peso do animal para cálculo do Índice de Lee. Após a eutanásia foram coletadas amostras de sangue para análise de amilase pancreática. As carcaças foram submetidas à análise de lipídeos pela metodologia de Bligh e Dyer. Os resultados para o Índice de Lee e amilase pancreática e percentual de gordura corporal para cada grupo respectivamente foram: 37,93±5,41 kg/m2 e 23,57±4,20 U/L e 13,22±3,88 % no Grupo 1; 26,34±6,94 kg/m2 e 25,0±14,85 U/L e 13,65±8,39 % no Grupo 2; 25,99±5,95 kg/m2 e 35,0±15,72 U/L e 14,10±4,64 % no Grupo 3; 24,09±5,79 kg/m2 e 128,14±50,03 U/L e 9,47±4,58 % no Grupo 4; 22,24±5,09 kg/m2 e 274,14±105,27 U/L e 7,86±2,71 % no Grupo 5. Em relação ao Índice de Lee, o grupo 1 que recebeu a dieta comercial foi o único que apresentou obesidade, enquanto os grupos 2 e 3 estavam em sobrepeso, e os grupos 4 e 5 eutrofia. Por outro lado, observou-se que não houve diferença nos valores de percentual de gordura corporal entre os animais dos grupos 1, 2 e 3. Enquanto os grupos 4 e 5 demonstraram um percentual de gordura evidentemente menor que os demais grupos. Infere-se que mesmo apresentado sobrepeso, os grupos 2 e 3 evidenciaram um percentual de gordura corporal maior que o grupo 1. Os grupos eutróficos manifestaram percentuais de gordura corporal ainda menores, ou seja, a suplementação de fbv auxiliou na manutenção do peso saudável com baixo índice de gordura corporal. Nos resultados da amilase pancreática, a suplementação estimulou a maior secreção, isoladamente a fbv apresentou resultado superior ao kombucha, e quando utilizados juntos o kombucha potencializou ainda mais esse efeito.
Introdução: Na atualidade, os hábitos alimentares da população do Brasil e do mundo, se caracterizam por um excessivo consumo de alimentos ricos em açúcares simples, gorduras saturadas e sal. O Diabetes Melito é uma doença crônica não transmissível que se desencadeia, muitas vezes, como consequência de uma alimentação inadequada. Este distúrbio metabólico, gera quadros de hiperglicemia e a terapia nutricional é fundamental no tratamento. Objetivo: O trabalho teve o objetivo de avaliar a ação hipoglicemiante do kombucha como probiótico, farinha de banana verde (FBV) como prebiótico e a associação destes alimentos como simbiótico em uma dieta de cafeteria com alto teor de açúcares oferecida a ratos wistar. Métodos: Para este experimento foram utilizados 35 ratos wistar machos e sadios, recém desmamados com 21 dias de vida, que foram distribuídos em 5 grupos de 7 animais, sendo eles: Grupo 1: dieta ração comercial (controle), Grupo 2: dieta de cafeteria, Grupo 3: dieta de cafeteria + kombucha, Grupo 4: dieta de cafeteria + FBV, Grupo 5: dieta de cafeteria + FBV + kombucha. O ensaio teve uma duração total de 55 dias, onde os primeiros 10 dias foram para induzir o diabetes nos animais dos grupos 2, 3, 4 e 5, mediante a dieta de cafeteria com alto teor de açúcares simples. Posteriormente, começou o período experimental, que teve uma duração de 45 dias, onde o kombucha e solução salina foram administrados por gavagem, com uma dose referente a 5mL/kg de peso do animal. Durante todo o experimento, os animais receberam água e ração ad libitum. Após a eutanásia dos animais, foram coletadas amostras de sangue para análises de glicemia e amilase pancreática mediante turbidimetria. Resultados: Como resultado, foram obtidos os seguintes valores para a glicemia e amilase pancreática de cada grupo: 65,86±11,60 mg/dL e 23,57±4,20 U/L para o Grupo 1; 104,14±114,92 mg/dL e 25,0±14,85 U/L para o Grupo 2; 49,00±13,18 mg/dL e 35,0±15,72 U/L para o Grupo 3; 73,86±24,78 mg/dL e 128,14±50,03 U/L para o Grupo 4; 72,29±33,87 mg/dL e 274,14±105,27 U/L para o Grupo 5, respectivamente. Conclusão: Observando os resultados da glicemia do grupo 1, onde não houve suplementação funcional, verifica-se que a dieta de cafeteria com alto teor de açúcares simples, foi eficaz na indução do diabetes. Ainda analisando os resultados da glicemia, é possível confirmar, que a suplementação isolada, tanto do probiótico kombucha como do prebiótico FBV, apresentam função hipoglicemiante, porém o efeito do prebiótico, é menos eficaz que o efeito do probiótico. Por outro lado, observou-se que, perante a associação simbiótica destes alimentos, o kombucha parece potencializar o efeito redutor da glicemia da FBV. Enquanto aos resultados da concentração de amilase no sangue dos animais, constatou-se que a suplementação isolada de FBV estimulou, consideravelmente, a secreção do referido hormônio e que o kombucha inibiu essa ação estimulante do prebiótico no grupo 5, onde houve associação de ambos sumplementos.
