Kulit merupakan organ yang paling sering terpapar radiasi sinar UV. Paparan sinar UV dapat mengakibatkan eritema dan kulit terbakar, warna kulit menjadi hitam, penuaan kulit, photosensitivity, dan karsinogenesis. Pekerjaan juga merupakan salah satu penyebab seringnya seseorang terpapar sinar UV. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan pekerja mengenai penggunaan tabir surya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain potong lintang pada pekerja HSE Center Pertamina Palembang dengan besar sampel 134 orang. Subjek penelitian diminta mengisi kuesioner lalu dianalisis dengan uji Chi Square. Pekerja di Pertamina HSE Training Center mempunyai tingkat pendidikan rendah 1,5%, tingkat menengah 41,8%, dan tinggi 56,7%. Pekerja memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik 20,1%, pengetahuan cukup 26,9%, dan pengetahuan kurang 53,0%. Nilai p untuk hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan mengenai penggunaan tabir surya adalah 0,405. Tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang mengenai manfaat tabir surya mungkin disebabkan oleh kurangnya sosialisasi mengenai tabir surya kepada pekerja Kesimpulan, tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan pekerja mengenai penggunaan tabir surya.
Dermatitis kontak adalah suatu keadaan inflamasi atau radang non infeksi pada kulit yang diakibatkan oleh senyawa yang kontak dengan kulit yang bersifat iritan atau alergen. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama kontak, masa kerja, riwayat penyakit kulit, riwayat atopi, riwayat personal hygiene, dan riwayat penggunaan APD dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak pada pekerja bengkel motor di Kecamatan Plaju.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada pekerja bengkel di Kecamatan Plaju kota Palembang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 pekerja dengan total sampling. Pada penelitian didapatkan 27 orang (90,0%) pekerja yang mengalami dermatitis kontak dan 3 orang (10,0%) pekerja yang tidak mengalami dermatitis kontak. Ada hubungan antara lama kontak (p=0,009, CI 1.070-1.390,mean 1.233), masa kerja (p=0,005, CI 1.050-1.350, mean 1.200), riwayat atopi (p=0,009, CI 1.070-1390, mean 1.233), dan personal hygiene(p=0,002, CI 1.030-1.310, mean 1.167) dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak. Tidak ada hubungan antara riwayat penyakit kulit (p=0,537, CI 1.180-1.550, mean 1.367) dan penggunaan APD (p=0,548, CI 1.210-1.590, mean 1.400) dengan kejadian dermatitis kontak.
Vaginal hygiene kemungkinan memiliki peranan penting dalam timbulnya vaginitis. Cara mencuci vagina yang tidak benar dapat menyebabkan timbulnya vaginitis pada remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara cara mencuci vagina dengan timbulnya vaginitis pada pelajar SMA.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatancross sectional.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total samplingsesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data mengenai cara mencuci vagina dan vaginitis diperoleh dari kuesioner.Sebanyak 83,3% subjek termasuk kategori cara mencuci vagina yang buruk, 73,5% berusia 17 tahun, dan 66,7% memiliki riwayat vaginitis. Hasil uji Chi-Square mengenai hubungan cara mencuci vagina dengan timbulnya vaginitis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini kemungkinan akibat faktor usia remaja, kelembaban Indonesia yang tinggi, serta tingkat pengetahuan mengenai vaginal hygieneyang masih rendah.Kesimpulan,terdapat hubungan yang sangat bermakna antara cara mencuci vagina yang buruk dengan timbulnya vaginitis pada pelajar SMA.
