This paper deals with designing a simple and efficient simultaneous inductive power and data transmission for transcutaneous Micro-system based on ASK modulation at 6,78 MHz industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band to avoid the tissue damage. The modified ASK modulator and inductive coupling link driven by efficient Class-E power amplifier with 94,5% efficiency and the coupling link of up to 78,29% of efficiency are introduced to transmit 500 Kbit/s of data with modulation index 12,5%, modulation rate 7,37%. The proposed design is simple, easy to implement and able to power the bio-implantable devices with DC V up to 5 V. The mathematical model is given and the system is designed and validated by professional OrCADPsPice 16,6 environment simulation using a standard AMS 0,35 µm MOS technology. In addition, for real-time simulation, the electronic workbench MULISIM 11 has been used to simulate the class-E power amplifier switching. This design is useful for cochlear implants, retinal implants and implantable micro-system stimulator.
An asynchronous processor has been an attractive research fields since it offers many advantages over synchronous processor. Field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA), one of today's dominate media for prototyping and implementing digital circuits is used to construct an %bit asynchronous RISC processor. The asynchronous processor employs conceptual framework of a Sutherland micropipeline, a modular approach to design asynchronous circuits.
This paper presents the full design, operational principle, structure and frequency response simulation of one-port Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Resonator using Micro Wave Office (MWO) and MATLAB used for passive wireless sensing of various measurands. Since SAW Resonators are widely used in radio frequency sensing application, the development and evolution of present day SAW devices has been possible only due to simultaneous efforts to simulate these devices and also it is desirable to evaluate the device prior to fabrication especially in cases where the characteristic of device material and dimensions have a major influence on the performance of the overall system. The equivalent circuit model approach has been used to simulate the frequency response of one-port SAW resonator base on gallium orthophosphate (GaPO4) with 5° cut-angle at 2.45 GHz under ISM band frequency for high temperature wireless application and it appears that this modeling is suitable for near resonance frequency, also measuring dielectric permittivity of GaPO 4 at this frequency for use of modeling.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
