Ao menos desde a segunda metade da década passada, Belo Horizonte tem sido reapresentada aos saraus. Evento de nome antigo, o sarau renasce e adquire sentidos inéditos a partir da eclosão de movimentos periféricos de produção e divulgação de poesia em diversas partes do Brasil. Se o Duelo de MCs, presente e atuante na capital mineira desde 2007, tornou-se referência de um outro trato com a língua, localizado entre a canção e a fala, entre o improviso (e suas variadas e fascinantes estratégias) e o canto, os saraus se apresentam como possibilidade de oxigenação do texto, dedicando-se a retirar de abafadas gavetas aquilo que nasceu ou se fixou na escrita e trazê-lo à arena pública da performance.Quem assiste a essas apresentações pode perceber em meio a variadas dicções a forte presença do rap. Os saraus por aqui são espaços de uma poesia marginal que não é só a do mimeógrafo, desdobramentos de um fascínio com a palavra que passa não apenas pelos livros, mas por discos, por duelos e por performances, pela fala. Parente dos saraus de periferia e dos duelos de MCs, surge mais recentemente no Brasil o slam, uma modalidade competitiva em que slammers ou simplesmente poetas têm poucos minutos para apresentarem seus textos falados ao público e a um júri que os avalia e, por fim, define um vencedor. Tudo isso sob a mediação de um slammaster que, longe de comandar o evento, têm a função de organizá-lo, fazê-lo acontecer.Nenhuma outra atividade cultural parece neste momento alinhar literatura e democracia de forma tão vigorosa quantos os saraus e slams. Muito dificilmente encontraríamos nesta cidade e neste presente um espaço em que produtor e público sejam funções tão imediatamente intercambiáveis,
O presente ensaio busca pensar as novas configurações que a palavra poética tem encontrado para se espalhar, expandindo-se para além dos lugares e formas tradicionalmente resguardados para ela. Para isso, parte-se de abordagens e perspectivas teóricas, como Literatura expandida (PATO, 2012), arte e escritura expandidas (SANTOS; REZENDE, 2011) e “literatura fora de si” (GARRAMUÑO, 2014, p.43), em uma tentativa de elaborar fenômenos como a incorporação da palavra por artistas plásticos e o Slam, que vêm atravessando nosso contemporâneo. Especificamente a obra Favorite Game (1990), do artista plástico José Leonilson, e Lírica de uma favelada (2018), da slammer Nívea Sabino, servirão como mote para se analisar como a palavra desborda as fronteiras do livro e se faz presente em obras plásticas, que também podem ser lidas como inscrições poéticas, e na rua, espaço para livre criação poética.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Literatura expandida; José Leonilson; Slam; Nívea Sabino.
Pretende-se nesse artigo construir uma leitura analítica sobre as vozes, corpos e espaços entre a performance e a escrita da poeta Nívea Sabino, que participa da cena/movimento/circuito dos saraus e slams marginais-periféricos de Belo Horizonte (MG). Para isso, apresentamos uma breve incursão pelas estéticas do marginal e do periférico em contraponto ao espaço/lugar da literatura contemporânea contestada, relacionando o contexto sociocultural dessa produção literária à margem com as vozes, escritas e performances do movimento e circuito de saraus e slams. Da produção escrita de Nívea, teremos como base um dos poemas do livro Interiorana, como suporte, para entendermos uma literatura que nasce e é criada no “entre” a performance e a escrita.
