Electroanalysis is widely used for environmental monitoring. This review summarizes the most progressive electroanalytical methods and the development of novel sensors that are the primary part of monitors and analyzers for environmental purposes. The utility of voltammetry, pentiometry, conductometry, and coulometry for environmental monitoring is surveyed and 64 references are provided.
