Die aus Morphin (I) durch Erhitzen mit Z‐Chlorpyrimidin bzw. 1‐Phenyl‐5‐chlortetrazol (II) in Gegenwart von wasserfreiem Kaliumcarbonat in Aceton erhältlichen Morphinäther (III) ergeben bei der Hydrierung mit Wasserstoff an Pd/C in Äthanol unter Druck durch Spaltung der Ätherbindung 3‐Desoxydihydromorphin (IV).
Nitrosierung der D‐Glucosyl‐ (Ia), D‐Galaktosyl‐ (Ib), D‐Xylosyl‐ (Ic) bzw. L‐Arabinosylamin‐acetate (Id) liefert stabile kristalline Nitrosoderivate (II), die sich mit Na‐methylat desacetylieren lassen.
