ChemInform Abstract: HYDROXYL GROUP ELIMINATION IN THE MORPHINE SERIES

Abstract: Die aus Morphin (I) durch Erhitzen mit Z‐Chlorpyrimidin bzw. 1‐Phenyl‐5‐chlortetrazol (II) in Gegenwart von wasserfreiem Kaliumcarbonat in Aceton erhältlichen Morphinäther (III) ergeben bei der Hydrierung mit Wasserstoff an Pd/C in Äthanol unter Druck durch Spaltung der Ätherbindung 3‐Desoxydihydromorphin (IV).
