Objetivouse comparar a atividade eletromiográfica dos músculos Reto do Abdome (partes superior [RAS] The results demonstrated that the electromyographic activity of the abdominal muscles was significantly greater or similar in the traditional exercise compared to the 5 minutes shaper ® device, however, the RF muscle activity in the device was significantly higher in relation to the traditional exercise. It is concluded that traditional abdominal exercise prioritizes the recruitment of the abdominal muscles minimizing the activity of the thigh flexors muscles, becoming an important factor for its choice, compared to the 5 minutes shaper ® device, especially for people with weak abdominal muscles and/or problems in the lumbar region. Keywords: Rectus abdominis, electromyography, health.
Abstract: Leprosy is an infectious and contagious IntroduçãoA hanseníase permanece como um grave problema de saúde pública no país, sendo o segundo país em número de casos da doença, representando 93% dos novos casos na América Latina [1].
