Chronic wound is a common complication for diabetic patients, which entails substantial inconvenience, persistent pain, and significant economic burden to patients. However, current clinical treatments for diabetic chronic wounds remain unsatisfactory. A prolonged but ineffective inflammation phase in chronic wounds is the primary difference between diabetic chronic wounds and normal wounds. Herein, we present an effective antioxidative system (MOF/Gel) for chronic wound healing of diabetic rats through integrating a metal organic framework (MOF) nanozyme with antioxidant enzyme-like activity with a hydrogel (Gel). MOF/Gel can continuously scavenge reactive oxygen species to modulate the oxidative stress microenvironment in diabetic chronic wounds, which leads to a natural transition from the inflammation phase to the proliferation phase. Impressively, the efficacy of one-time-applied MOF/Gel was comparable to that of the human epidermal growth factor Gel, a widely used clinical drug for various wound treatments. Such an effective, safe, and convenient MOF/Gel system can meet complex clinical demands.

[4] It is exciting that certain new therapies that are safe and efficient with little side effects have been developed in recent years, such as gene therapy, [5] photothermal therapy, [6] photodynamic therapy, [7] and so on. Of course, synergistic therapy should be more effective due to not only the accumulation of therapeutic effects, but also the mutual promotion of different treatments. [8] However, the check point in the collaborative treatment is the synthesis of multifunctional materials. [9] Among various types of nanomaterials, graphene oxide (GO) has exhibited a great potential in biomedicine. GO has large surface area for multifarious therapeutic agents, and the hydroxyl and carboxyl groups on its surface, making it more dispersible and easier to be functionalized. [10] More importantly, the absorption in the near infrared (NIR) determines its excellent photothermal capability. In recent years, in order to further improve the photothermal performance and entitle materials imaging function to more accurately treat diseases, composite nanomaterials have attracted extensive attentions. [5c,11] Gold nanoparticles with tunable shape and size have been reported to hybridize with other materials for better therapeutic effects. [12] Among them, gold nanostars (AuNS) could be a more suitable option for hybridization with GO to achieve a higher Nanomaterial-based pancreatic cancer treatment has received widespread attention and rapid development in the past few years. In addition, the cross-linking of folic acid on the surface of rGO@AuNS-lipid can specifically bind after recognizing folic acid receptors on the surface of cancer cells, and greatly improve the targeting ability of the nanomaterial and the performance of imaging diagnosis by receptormediated endocytosis. Polyamines have been reported to be involved in grain filling and they might contribute to the construction of heat resistance of some cereals. In this study, the hybrid rice ‘YLY 689’ was used to explore the possible effects of exogenous spermidine (Spd) on seed quality under high temperature during the filling stage. Rice spikes were treated with Spd or its synthesis inhibitor cyclohexylamine (CHA) after pollination, and then the rice plants were transferred to 40 °C for 5-day heat treatment. The results showed that, compared with the control under high temperature, Spd pretreatment significantly improved the germination percentage, germination index, vigor index, seedling shoot height, and dry weight of seeds harvested at 35 days after pollination, while the CHA significantly decreased the seed germination and seedling growth. Meanwhile, Spd significantly increased the peroxidase (POD) activity and decreased the malondialdehyde (MDA) content in seeds. In addition, after spraying with Spd, the endogenous content of spermidine and spermine and the expression of their synthetic genes, spermidine synthase (SPDSYN) and spermine synthase (SPMS1 and SPMS2), significantly increased, whereas the accumulation of amylose and total starch and the expression of their related synthase genes, soluble starch synthase II-3 (SS II-3) and granules bound starch synthase I (GBSSI), also increased to some extent. The data suggests that exogenous Spd pretreatment could alleviate the negative impacts of high temperature stress on rice seed grain filling and improve the rice seed quality to some extent, which might be partly caused by up-regulating endogenous polyamines and starch metabolism.

Pressure has always been an effective method for uncovering novel phenomena and properties in condensed matter physics. Here, an electrical transport study is carried on 2H‐TaS2 up to ≈208 GPa, and an unexpected superconducting state (SC‐II) emerging around 86.1 GPa with an initial critical temperature (Tc) of 9.6 K is found. As pressure increases, the Tc enhances rapidly and reaches a maximum of 16.4 K at 157.4 GPa, which sets a new record for transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). The original superconducting state (SC‐I) is found to be re‐enhanced above 100 GPa after the recession around 10 GPa, and coexists with SC‐II to the highest pressure applied in this work. In situ high‐pressure X‐ray diffraction and Hall effect measurements reveal that the occurrence of SC‐II is accompanied by a structural modification and a concurrent enhancement of hole carrier density. The new high‐Tc superconducting state in 2H‐TaS2 can be attributed to the change of the electronic states near the Fermi surface, owing to pressure‐induced interlayer modulation. It is the first time finding this remarkable superconducting state in TMDs, which not only brings a new broad of perspective on layered materials but also expands the field of pressure‐modified superconductivity.

The adoption of high pressure not only reinforces the comprehension of the structure and exotic electronic states of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) but also promotes the discovery of intriguing phenomena. Here, 1T-TaS2 was investigated up to 100 GPa, and re-enhanced superconductivity was found with structural phase transitions. The discovered I4/mmm TaS2 presents strong electron–phonon coupling, revealing a good superconductivity of the nonlayered structure. The P–T phase diagram shows a dome shape centered at ~20 GPa, which is attributed to the distortion of the 1T structure. Accompanied by the transition to nonlayered structure above 44.5 GPa, the superconducting critical temperature shows an increasing trend and reaches ~7 K at the highest studied pressure, presenting superior superconductivity compared to the original layered structure. It is unexpected that the pressure-induced re-enhanced superconductivity was observed in TMDs, and the transition from a superconductor with complicated electron-pairing mechanism to a phonon-mediated superconductor would expand the field of pressure-modified superconductivity.
