Pendahuluan: Pedagang banten merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang memiliki risiko untuk mengalami gangguan muskuloskeletal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh aktivitas mejejaitan yakni kegiatan memotong dan merangkai janur menjadi banten yang akan digunakan untuk upacara agama Hindu di Bali. Aktivitas mejejaitan yang dilakukan pedagang banten dalam jangka panjang dan repetitif, akan menyebabkan gangguan muskuloskeletal salah satunya de quervain syndrome, yaitu merupakan peradangan pada selaput tendon (tenosynovitis) otot abductor pollicis longus dan extensor pollicis brevis sehingga menyebabkan nyeri pada ibu jari. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya de quervain syndrome, salah satu faktor pencetusnya adalah durasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan durasi mejejaitan terhadap risiko terjadinya de quervain syndrome pada pedagang banten di Denpasar. Metode: Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Januari – Maret 2021 dengan menggunakan metode penelitian observasional analitik dan desain cross-sectional analitik. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik accidental sampling. Responden penelitian berjumlah 90 orang. Variabel dependen yang diukur yakni de quervain syndrome menggunakan Tes WHAT (Wrist Hyperflexion and Abduction Thumb) dan interpretasi nyeri berupa Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Hasil: Variabel independen yang diukur yakni durasi mejejaitan berdasarkan hasil wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis melalui uji chi-square, didapatkan p = 0,016 (p<0,05). Simpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara durasi mejejaitan yang signifikan dengan risiko terjadinya de quervain syndrome pada pedagang banten di Denpasar.
