Abstract. CV. X is a company engaged in the convection of women's bags and mini backpacks. CV. X uses the make to order process. In the process of making a mini backpack, the activities are carried out in a sitting position according to the standard, namely the sewing process, while for the process of the pattern, the cutting process, and the process of installing the accessories are done in a sitting position on the floor without a base. Based on the results of interviews with operators, it was found that the most complaints with the working conditions of the neck bowed, back bent, sat barefooted with legs crossed occurred in the operator mounting accessories. The method used is the OWAS method and the Nordic Body Map Questionnaire. Based on the results of interviews and the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, complaints were felt that consisted of neck, lower back and lower legs, knees, buttocks, and ankles. The following conditions cause muscle injury, musculoskeletal disorders. The results of the determination of work risk using the Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) method obtained all work elements in the process of installing accessories with the second level category, namely the process of gluing spots, cutting relief materials, linking relief and hurdles, linking spots, uniting all elements, and installing accessories. Abstrak. CV. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang konveksi tas wanita dan mini backpack. CV. X menggunakan proses make to order. Pada proses pembuatan tas mini backpack yang aktivitasnya dikerjakan dengan posisi duduk sesuai standar yaitu proses penjahitan, sedangkan untuk proses pola, proses potong, dan proses pemasangan accesories dikerjakan dengan posisi duduk dilantai tanpa alas dilakukan secara berulang-ulang dan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan operator didapatkan bahwa keluhan terbanyak dengan kondisi kerja leher menunduk, punggung membungkuk, duduk tanpa alas dengan kaki menyilang terjadi pada operator pemasangan accesories. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode OWAS dan Kuisioner Nordic Body Map. Berdasarkan hasil dari wawancara dan kuisioner Nordic Body Map diperoleh keluhan yang dirasakan terdiri dari bagian leher, punggung atas dan bawah, lutut, bokong/paha, dan pergelangan kaki.. Hasil dari penentuan risiko kerja menggunakan metode Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) didapat seluruh elemen kerja pada proses pemasangan accesories dengan kategori level dua yaitu proses merekatkan bintik, menggunting bahan lega, mengaitkan lega dan gawang, mengaitkan bintik, menyatukan semua elemen, dan pemasangan accesories.
Recently business competition is getting tougher, especially concerning the fulfillment of consumer needs. Unstable market demand is often a challenge for companies in fulfillment of market demand. The study was conducted at PT TSJ, and the problem is when the supply is higher than the demand, the company will have to bear the holding cost. Meanwhile, when inventory is lower than the demand, the company must bear the cost of a product backlog. This research uses a dynamic system method with three scenarios: real situation scenario, raising the safety stock and reducing lead time. Results of the simulation are based on a real situation that shows the lead time from distributors to retailers and distributor safety stock has a major effect on the costs borne by the distributor and the longer the safety stock; results of the increase of the safety stock scenario shows that the backlog costs are reduced but the product as inventory at the distributor increases and thus the saving costs increases, and the result of reducing the lead time shows that holding cost at distributor reduced. The conclusion of this research shows that the best scenario to minimize the total cost is to reduce lead time.
Abstract. PT.Remaja Rosdakarya is a company engaged in graphics. The production process begins with the pre-print, print, and post-print processes. The post-printing process often results in defective products that are detrimental to the company from a material and financial perspective. The product defect is caused by damage to engine components. In the post-print division there are several machines, namely letter, vbf, panda. Panda machine has the highest downtime compared to other machines, which is 592.46 hours for 3 years. In the current condition, the company is still implementing a corrective maintenance strategy where the machine will be repaired when there is damage. This causes high machine downtime, downtime will disrupt the running of the production line because the machine must stop when repairs are carried out. High downtime will reduce machine reliability and increase maintenance costs. Based on these problems, it is necessary to implement preventive maintenance with the reliability centered maintenance method ii in order to obtain the expected machine reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Based on the results of data processing, there are 3 critical components on the panda machine, namely bushing glue roller, carbon vane rietschle, and shaft gear glue pot. Based on the expected reliability value of 90%, the bushing component must be maintained for 465 hours or 59 days. Carbon components 633 hours or 80 days, shaft components 320 hours or 40 days. A maintenance scheme is made based on maintenance intervals to find the smallest maintenance costs. The selected scheme is scheme 5 with the lowest total cost of Rp. 126.083570, - with a component reliability value of 90% for bushings and carbon, and 86.16% for shaft gear components. Abstrak. PT.Remaja Rosdakarya adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang grafika. Proses produksi diawali dengan proses pra cetak, cetak, dan pasca cetak. Pada proses pasca cetak seringkali menghasilkan produk cacat yang merugikan perusahaan dari sisi material dan finansial. Produk defect tersebut disebabkan karena kerusakan komponen mesin. Pada divisi pasca cetak terdapat beberapa mesin yaitu hurauf, vbf, panda. Mesin Panda memiliki downtime yang paling tinggi dari mesin lainnya yaitu sebesar 592,46 jam selama 3 tahun. Pada kondisi saat ini perusahaan masih menerapkan strategi perawatan korektif dimana mesin akan diperbaiki ketika ada kerusakan. Hal ini yang menyebabkan downtime mesin tinggi, downtime akan mengganggu jalannya lini produksi karena mesin harus berhenti ketika dilakukan perbaikan. Tingginya downtime akan menurunkan kehandalan mesin dan meningkatkan biaya pemeliharaan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka harus dilakukan penerapan preventive maintenance dengan metode reliability centered maintenance ii guna mendapatkan kehandalan mesin yang diharapkan dan mengurangi biaya perawatan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, terdapat 3 komponen kritis pada mesin panda yaitu bushing glue roller, carbon vane rietschle,dan shaft gear glue pot. Berdasarkan nilai keandalan yang diharapkan perushaaan sebesar 90%, maka komponen bushing harus dilakukan perawatan selama 465 jam sekali atau 59 hari. Komponen carbon 633 jam sekali atau 80 hari, komponen shaft 320 jam sekali atau 40 hari. Dibuat skema pemeliharaan berdasarkan interval pemeliharaan untuk mencari biaya perawatan terkecil. Skema terpilih adalah skema 5 dengan total cost terendah sebesar Rp.126.083.570,- dengan nilai keandalan komponen 90% untuk bushing dan carbon, serta 86,16% untuk komponen shaft gear.
The high population density in the devotion location, causing groundwater getting a much needed, but its condition now is dwindling due to lack of land infiltration. It is caused by the high of land conversion therefore the land becomes water resistant. Many residents who buy clean water during the dry season but when in the rainy season many puddles in the yard and the street due to the capacity of the drainage is not enough anymore. Furthermore, the rainwater runoff in the area contributed to the flooding in the Rancaekek and Jatinangor area. To resolve this issue is done counseling in order to change the rainwater management paradigm that only distributes as soon as possible to maximize their absorption into the drainage channel in a way to invite people to make LRB. LRB chosen because it is one of the appropriate technology that is easy to do, relatively cheap, environmentally friendly and is an effective way to conserve underground water can overcome the water crisis, and contribute significantly to reducing flood donations. Residents with making LRB have benefits to eliminate the puddles in the yard and the street, and further can be groundwater reserves. Because the LRB can be filled with organic waste, which can be turned into compost, then the other benefits are be able to improve the processing of organic waste into compost.
