In this study, microbial utilization of coffee pulp waste to produce three carbohydrases (cellulase, pectinase, and xylanase) has been investigated. An isolate Listeria sp. ISH-16 which grown in liquid medium containing 0.5% coffee pulp alkali extract can grow well with density of reach 10 7 x 58.5 cell/mL. Further, the culture can optimum produced of pectinase after 72 hours incubation at 37 o C, but for cellulase and xylanase longer 84 hours incubation needed. The harvested of crude pectinase, cellulase and xylanase had activity 0.15, 0.23, and 0.61 unit/ ml after dialysis, respectively. All enzymes stable at a range of pH 4-5.5, but they work optimum at different pH. Of each enzyme pectinase, cellulase, and xylanase work optimum at pH 5, 4.5, and 5.5. based on these results, it may be adopted as a strategy to produce enzymes with low cost so that further investigation such as large scale and purification enzyme is needed.
Research on the toxicity of n-hexane extract of Albizia falcataria sawdust against Hypothenemus hampei has been conducted. The method of research was contact method. The concentrations used in the experiment were control (aquadest); 0.25%; 0.5%; 1%; 2%; and 4%. Every concentration was sprayed on the female imago. Observations were performed 120 hours after treatment. The results showed that there was an effect of the length of observation time and concentration on the mortality of H. hampei (GLM Test α= 5%). The time of observation and concentration of A. falcataria sawdust n-hexane extract has positive correlation on H. hampei mortality. Therefore, the longer the treatment time, the more H. hampei mortality is increased. The mortality of H. hampei also increased with increasing concentration given. At a concentration of 4%, extract of A. falcataria sawdust has high toxicity which causes the highest mortality (> 92%). ABSTRAKPenelitian tentang toksisitas ekstrak n-heksana serbuk gergaji Albizia falcataria terhadap Hypothenemus hampei telah dilakukan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode racun kontak. Konsentrasi yang digunakan pada uji penelitian yaitu kontrol (aquades); 0,25%; 0,5%; 1%; 2%; dan 4%. Setiap konsentrasi disemprotkan pada tubuh imago betina. Pengamatan dilakukan selama 120 jam setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh lama waktu pengamatan dan konsentrasi terhadap mortalitas H. hampei (Uji GLM α= 5%). Waktu pengamatan dan konsentrasi ekstrak n-heksana serbuk gergaji kayu A. falcataria berbanding lurus terhadap mortalitas H. hampei, sehingga semakin lama waktu perlakuan, mortalitas H. hampei semakin meningkat. Mortalitas H. hampei juga semakin meningkat dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi yang diberikan. Pada konsentrasi 4%, ekstrak sebuk gergaji kayu A. falcataria memiliki daya racun yang tinggi sehingga menyebabkan kematian tertinggi (> 92%).

One of the big problems of SMEs that happen in Indonesia is manual bookkeeping. Therefore, it leads to difficulty in calculating turnover, gross profit, and net profit, inhibiting SMEs from growing and scaling up the business. This study aims to observe and determine whether there is an influence of Education Level and Business Scale on the Use of Accounting Information in SMEs in Pamulang District Tangerang Selatan. The tests carried out show that the education level variable significantly affects and the business scale variable does not influence users of accounting information. Based on the F test, it is known that the level of education and the scale of business together significantly affect users of accounting information. So it can be concluded that the results of this study indicate that the education level of the MSME actors affects the use of accounting information in their respective units
Serangga Hypothenemus hampei memiliki kemampuan untuk menggerek biji kopi, dan digunakannya sebagai sumber makanan, tempat hidup dan siklus hidup. Aktivitas hidup dari H. hampei menyebabkan rontoknya buah kopi dan penurunan kualitas serta kuantitas buah kopi hingga 40%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan isolat bakteri pektinolitik yang memiliki toleransi tinggi terhadap lingkungan khususnya kafein, tanin dan polifenol. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari tahap pembuatan media skrining bakteri pektinase, isolasi bakteri endosimbion dan identifikasi spesies serta fisiologi bakteri. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi dan skrining bakteri pada sistem pencernaan H. hampei didapatkan 15 isolat bakteri pektinolitik endosimbion. Hasil identifikasi tiga isolat terpilih diketahui bahwa isolat 2B termasuk golongan Enterobacter sp. atau Actinobacillus sp., isolat 31B masuk ke dalam Micrococcus sp. dan isolat 42B termasuk Chromobacterium sp. Penelitian ini berguna sebagai kajian untuk strategi penanganan hama serangga H. hampei dengan menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri pektinolitik.
