Background: Not only in India but also worldwide, criminal activity has dramatically increasing day by day among youth, and it must be addressed properly to maintain a healthy society. This review is focused on risk factors and quantitative approach to determine delinquent behaviors of juveniles. Materials and Methods: A total of 15 research articles were identified through Google search as per inclusion and exclusion criteria, which were based on machine learning (ML) and statistical models to assess the delinquent behavior and risk factors of juveniles. Results: The result found ML is a new route for detecting delinquent behavioral patterns. However, statistical methods have used commonly as the quantitative approach for assessing delinquent behaviors and risk factors among juveniles. Conclusions: In the current scenario, ML is a new approach of computer-assisted techniques have potentiality to predict values of behavioral, psychological/mental, and associated risk factors for early diagnosis in teenagers in short of times, to prevent unwanted, maladaptive behaviors, and to provide appropriate intervention and build a safe peaceful society.
Yogic therapies are traditional, the oldest, and powerful combination with various methods to cope with different stressors and developing a healthy mental and physical health as an interventional program. The present study aimed to see the effect of yogic techniques on academic stress and psychological well-being among young adult girls. A total of 20 young adult unmarried nursing girl students were selected with age range 17-20 Years, and then randomly divided into 02 groups, 10 in experimental and 10 in control group. Scale for Assessing Academic Stress (SAAS) and Checklist for Psychological well-being were used as assessment tools. They assessed at the beginning and after 30 days of yogic practices intervention program. The Experimental group has been received a structured yogic intervention programme. The result found that yogic practices has signicantly effective on academic stress and psychological well-being on experimental group participants. Yogic practices are also effective in enhancing self-esteem level, positive mental-health and to developing self-awareness to all age groups.
Schizophrenia is a disorder that affects 1% of the total human population with a relatively uniform distribution throughout the world. The present study is to determine the “Effect of Supportive Psychotherapy on Subjective Well Being and Quality of Life in Individuals with Schizophrenia”. A hospital based study with 16 male schizophrenic inpatients were selected (8 patients for experimental and 8 for control group) according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Assessment tools were used as Socio-Demographic Data Sheet, The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS), P.G.I. Quality of Life Scale, and P.G.I. General Well Being measure. Experimental group was received intervention of supportive psychotherapy for 06 weeks (12 individual sessions) on individual basis and group wise too. The study found that signicant changes on subjective well being and quality of life after the intervention on experimental group as compared to control group patients. The supportive psychotherapy has the ability to improve the subjective well-being and quality of life among psychiatric patients
