Objective: Identify the prevalence of occupational accidents among nursing professionals working in critical units of an emergency service and understand the professional experience among the injured professionals. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted with 75 professionals, in two consecutive stages. A quantitative analysis was performed by descriptive statistics, and the participants' statements were processed in the IRaMuTeQ software, and analyzed according to the hierarchical descending classification. The findings were based on the collective subject discourse method. Results: The overall prevalence of accidents was 26.7%. Of these, 72.2% involved sharp materials and blood was the main biological agent involved in 84.2% of the accidents. Three classes were defined: "Experiencing an occupational accident"; "Post-exposure conduct" and "Occupational accident prevention". Conclusion: A high rate of injured professionals was observed, with a higher prevalence among those at a technical level. The experience of suffering an accident seems to be closely related to moments (before, after and during), causes, consequences and feelings.Keywords: Occupational risks; Occupational health; Accident prevention; Nursing. resumen Objetivo: Identificar la prevalencia de accidentes de trabajo entre los profesionales de enfermería activos en sectores críticos de una emergencia y comprender la experiencia profesional entre los heridos. Métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal, realizado en dos etapas consecutivas, con 75 profesionales. El análisis cuantitativo se realizó mediante estadística descriptiva, mientras que los informes fueron procesados en el software IRaMuTeQ, analizados de acuerdo a la Clasificación Jerárquica Descendente.Los hallazgos se basan en el método del Discurso del Sujeto Colectivo. Resultados: La prevalencia global de accidentes fue de 26,7%. De estos 72,2% fueron causados por objetos punzantes y en 84,2% la sangre era el principal agente biológica implicado.Tres clases fueron encontradas: "Experimentar Accidente de Trabajo"; "Post-Exposición Tuberías" y "Prevención de Accidentes de Trabajo". Conclusión: Se grabó alta tasa de accidentes que se encuentran con mayor prevalencia entre las personas de nivel técnico. La experiencia del accidente parece estar vinculada a momentos (antes, durante y después) por imagen, las causas, las consecuencias y los sentimientos. Palabras clave:
Resumo A inclusão de pessoas com deficiência no mercado de trabalho foi possível mediante legislações de reserva de vagas, embora ainda seja insuficiente oferecer emprego sem disponibilizar condições de acessibilidade. É relevante investigar as possibilidades e os desafios da inserção da pessoa com deficiência no trabalho, mas poucos estudos partem da sua percepção. Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender como os periódicos brasileiros da Saúde Coletiva de Qualis CAPES acima de B2 estão abordando a percepção das pessoas com deficiência e a influência da Lei de Cotas sobre a inclusão no trabalho. Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico, do tipo revisão de literatura. Percebe-se que a intersecção entre os estudos sobre deficiência e os estudos sobre o trabalho adentra a saúde coletiva como um tema emergente. A partir da leitura e análise dos artigos, foram criadas quatro categorias: deficiência como desvantagem e restrição de participação; cotas para pessoas com deficiência; percepção da pessoa com deficiência sobre o trabalho e medidas de inclusão social no trabalho. Ainda há muito a se avançar de modo que a extinção de barreiras não esteja somente pautada na organização, na legislação, na educação, mas essencialmente no campo da ideologia, da política e da sociedade.
Objective: to analyze the knowledge of injured professionals according to their perception, identifying their causes, feelings experienced, reactions and behaviors after the accident. Method: This is a descriptive study with quantitativequalitative approach, performed at the Regional Hospital of Ceilândia, through the application of questionnaires and interviews. The analysis was performed using descriptive statistics using frequency, mean, and standard deviation. The project follows strictly all ethical precepts. Results: Fear of contamination was the main feeling experienced. The most frequent cause of accidents was carelessness followed by improper disposal of sharps. It was noticed that professionals have difficulty adhering to personal protective equipment and that 88.8% of the injured had a complete vaccine scheme at the time of the accident. Conclusion: the reactions and behaviors of each individual were diverse. It is suggested the investment in education and training of the nursing team and modifications in the organizational system. Método: trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem quanti-qualitativa, realizado no Hospital Regional de Ceilândia, por meio da aplicação de questionários e entrevistas. A análise foi realizada por meio da estatística descritiva utilizando frequência, média e desvio-padrão. O projeto segue rigorosamente a todos os preceitos éticos. Resultados: o medo de contaminação foi o principal sentimento vivenciado. A causa mais recorrente de acidentes foi o descuido do profissional, seguido por descarte inadequado de material perfurocortante. Percebeu-se que os profissionais têm dificuldade em aderir aos equipamentos de proteção individual e que 88,8% dos acidentados possuíam esquema de vacina completo no momento do acidente. Conclusão: as reações e condutas de cada indivíduo foram diversas. Sugere-se o investimento em educação e treinamento da equipe de enfermagem e modificações no sistema organizacional.
