Une stèle en calcaire portant trois inscriptions, trouvée en 1992 dans la ville de Dilesi en Béotie orientale, livre les premiers documents comptables du sanctuaire d'Apollon Délien, situé sur le territoire de la cité de Tanagra. L'inscription gravée sur la face antérieure de la pierre, la principale et la mieux conservée, est la copie de la reddition de comptes faite à sa sortie de fonction par l'agonothète chargé de l'organisation des Delia, le concours artistique et athlétique pan-béotien en l'honneur d'Apollon. Cette inscription, que l'on peut dater des dernières décennies du IIe siècle av. J.-C., nous renseigne, en outre, sur la circulation monétaire en vigueur en Béotie à cette époque, ainsi que sur les relations que les cités béotiennes entretenaient entre elles après la dissolution de la confédération politique et militaire, en 172/1 , et sa refondation sous une forme altérée dans les années 140 av. J.-C.
