Résumé
Les stages pratiques d’un programme de formation à l’enseignement en éducation physique peuvent contribuer de façon substantielle à l’apprentissage du futur enseignant. Cet apprentissage dépend souvent et en grande partie de la qualité de la supervision offerte par les maîtres de stage. Pour soutenir ces maîtres de stage dans leur supervision, des formations leur sont proposées. Le but de ce texte est de tracer un bilan de la littérature sur ces formations dispensées aux maîtres de stage en éducation physique. L’analyse des objets de ces diverses formations de même que des modalités et pratiques les plus répandues amènera à proposer un modèle de supervision et d’approche de type inductif en formation des maîtres de stage. Ce modèle est suggéré pour pallier les lacunes du modèle de supervision clinique et pour tenir compte à la fois de l’idiosyncrasie de l’interaction professionnelle entre le maître de stage et le futur enseignant en supervision de stages, du contexte unique dans lequel se déroule le stage et de la singularité des acteurs engagés dans cette activité d’apprentissage de la profession d’éducateur physique.
