Cílem studie je popsat a analyzovat vztah a motivaci učitelů odborných předmětů k dalšímu vzdělávání; identifi kovat souvislosti mezi vztahem a motivací k dalšímu vzdělávání na straně jedné a profesně-demografi ckými znaky na straně druhé. Metody: Pro průzkum byl použit dotazník vlastní konstrukce, který byl distribuován v tištěné formě. Dotazník vyplnilo 93 respondentů – učitelů odborných předmětů ze středních škol v Jihomoravském kraji. Průzkum byl realizován v červnu 2013. Výsledky: U respondentů byl zjištěn vysoce pozitivní vztah k dalšímu vzdělávání, avšak nižší ochota se vzdělávat ve volném čase a relativní neochota vydávat na další vzdělávání vlastní prostředky. Byly zjištěny statisticky významné rozdíly v postojích i motivaci k dalšímu vzdělávání v závislosti na jednotlivých profesně-demografi ckých znacích – zejména na pohlaví a věku. Závěry: Mladší učitelé odborných předmětů a ženy jsou ochotnější se dále vzdělávat a motivují je faktory jako možnost získat nové poznatky o řešení problémů při práci s žáky, realizovat získané poznatky ve výuce, diskutovat o problémech s odborníky nebo možnost setkat se s kolegy a vzájemně si vyměňovat zkušeností. Učitelé ve věku 36–45 let byli méně celkově spokojeni s dalším vzděláváním než učitelé ve věku 46–55 let. Zavedení kariérního systému není obecně pro učitele odborných předmětů výrazným motivačním faktorem k dalšímu vzdělávání. Postoji a potřebami učitelů odborných předmětů je důležité se dále zabývat, jde o nedostatečně prozkoumanou oblast.
The offer for counselling services at universities and colleges is nowadays their standard component. University counselling focuses on learning, psychological, social, special-pedagogical and career issues. The aim of the paper is to acquaint with the results of the demand analysis for counselling services among students of all grades of the selected university in the Czech Republic. The results identified specific areas where students would need guidance or their further development (e. g. soft skills) while gender and student preference differences at different stages of study were found for most indicators. The results of such investigations are the core basis for reflection, innovation and improvement of the university counselling services status quo.
This paper deals with the results of sociological survey focused on identification of the attitudes of elderly people to further education. The research was carried out in September 2010. Experience of elderly people with further education, their readiness (determination) for further education as well as their motivation and barriers in further education were also subjects of this research. Detecting elderly population’s awareness of universities of the third age and finding out their further education preferences were an integral part of the research. Research sample consisted of citizens over 55 years living in the South Moravian region. The survey results are structured by socio-demographic features e.g.: age, sex, educational attainment etc. and provide an interesting insight into the attitudes of the target group to one of the activities that contributes to improvement of their quality of life.
The paper focuses on the issue of adult continuing professional development and the management of educational institutions. The objective of the paper is to present the selected results of the survey, which aimed at identifying and analyzing the educational needs of the target group for which a particular educational institution has been providing long-term educational activities. The survey was conducted at the end of 2019 through a questionnaire. 158 respondents from the application sphere related to the professional profile of a public university in the Czech Republic took part in it. The results provided practical suggestions for the organization and implementation of lifelong learning programs at the university. The results presented in this paper focus mainly on the preferences of respondents from the target group in the field of continuing professional development and also their general attitudes to the profession.
