Bukit Tinggi kota wisata yang menjadi unggulan di daerah Sumatera Barat yang memiliki banyak atraksi dan budaya yang beraneka ragam, keunikan Rumah Gadang, pakaian adat, tarian adat, kesenian, kuliner dan destinasi yang berpotensi untuk menjadi destinasi unggulan.Pengembangan pariwisata memang membutuhkan banyak pihak terkait salah satunya adalah pemerintah. Pemerintah Kota Bukittinggi khususnya Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bukittinggi dari tahun ke tahun terus mengembangkan objek wisata dan fasilitas –fasiltasnya tujuannya tak lain adalah untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisata ke kota Bukittinggi. Salah satunya dengan mengembangkan fasilitas yang ada di objek wisata Taman Margastwa dan Budaya Kinantan Kota Bukittinggi. Taman Margasatwa atau Kebun Binatang merupakan tempat dimana hewan yang dipelihara dan di rawat dalam lingkungan buatan dan di perlihatkan ke pengunjung. Selain tempat rekreasi, taman ini berfungsi sebagai tempat pendidikan, riset, dan tempat konservasi untuk satwa terancam punah. Agar dapat membuat pengunjung dapat lebih bersantai dan nyaman pemerintah terus mengembangkan fasilitas di objek tersebut. Sesuai dengan tugas dan fungsinya Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bukittinggi memiliki peranan yang sangat besar terutama dalam pengembangan pariwisata beserta fasilitas di objek wisata Taman Margasatwa dan Budaya Kinantan. Penelitian kali ini dengan deskriptif pendekatan Kualitatif karena penulis akan mengalisa peran Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bukittinggi yang antara lain sebagai motivator, fasilitator dan dinamisator. Peran ini juga berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan fasilitas di Taman Margastwa dan Budaya Kinantan Kota Bukittinggi, dimana Dinas Pariwisata Kota Bukittinggi berperan untuk mengelola dan mengembangkan fasilitas utama berupa kandang, fasilitas pendukung seperti kursi duduk, jalan setapak hingga tulisan Benteng Ford De Kock dan fasilias penunjang seperti spot foto kekinian hingga fasilitas penunjang wifi. Kubu Gadang village has been included in the category of developing tourist villages that are heading towards the phase of advanced tourist villages but are constrained by the conditions of the covid-19 pandemic. In the condition of a pandemic, need a strategy for recovery. Before formulating a strategy, there needs to be a stage to analyze the position of Kubu Gadang tourist village with the life cycle approach. The researchers conduct qualitative methods, by observation, and in-depth interviews, so that the data obtained is then analyzed internally and externally to find the conduit of Kubu Gadang village based on the position of the life cycle of tourism attraction which then the data is processed with SWOT analysis to produce and formulate strategy. Position of Kubu Gadang tourist village which is now development period then further prepare to consolidation phase with a strategy to increase achievements with innovation following health protocols, accelerate collaboration to develop international investments, immediately socialize to the community for digital change so that it becomes an added value of Kubu Gadang Village, then increase community facilities and collaboration for the development of attractive attractions, homestay, and culinary.
This aim of this research is focused on the innovation of the culinary products called Bilih Fish (Mystacoleucus Padangensis) as the tourism destination and as one of the main products on the sustainable tourism ecosystem in West Sumatera of Indonesia. Bilih fish (Mystacoleucus Padangensis) is endemic and only can be found in Singkarak Lake of West Sumatera Province. The research problem was about sustainability issue of the Bilih fish on the supply chain ecosystem as well as significant strength of sustainable tourism in West Sumatera, Indonesia. The research used qualitative approach using primary data sources where data were collected by using direct non-participant observation and structured-interview techniques. Interview was conducted with Bilih fish entrepreneur. In addition, this research also used the secondary data used research notes from the Singkarak Geographical Indication Society (MIGS) which was tabulated on the data analysis by using validity and triangulation techniques. This research shows strategic ecosystem of fisherman Bilih fish integrated into tourists empowering local society for a sustainable tourism.
Culinary has become its attraction that captivates the hearts of tourists. This is realized by the Bukittinggi City Government which will develop its tourist attraction through the culinary tourism potential of Nasi Kapau. Culinary Tourism started from additional facilities in the distribution of tourist activities but now the position of Nasi Kapau has turned into a tourist attraction that can be side by side with other attractions. To find out the position of Nasi Kapau to be used as a tourist promotion tool of Bukittinggi City, it needs to be started with an analysis of strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats internally and externally, research seeks information by interviews by all Nasi swords that sell in bukittinggi slope market and spread angket to tourists who eat Nasi Kapau in bukittinggi slope market. The data obtained is analyzed descriptively about the marketing mix and the next data from the questionnaire is given weight and entered in the SWOT matrix so that it can answer the appropriate strategy for the promotion of Bukittinggi City through Nasi Kapau culinary tour. The results obtained are strategies that are suitable for the promotion of the city of Bukittinggi through Nasi Kapau Culinary tour is an aggressive strategy. Continuous promotion can also be done by mouth-to-mouth method or make Nasi Kapau as a talking point so as to attract other tourists to visit Bukittinggi out of curiosity about the taste of Nasi Kapau. In addition, Nasi Kapau costomers has been classified as a royal costomers so that it can dream up its review with pleasure.
This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Kue Sapik Gula Aren as a support for the tourist attraction of South Solok Regency. The research method used is through a qualitative approach using the SWOT analysis method and the data used in this study are primary and secondary data, data collection techniques by observation and interviews. The data obtained from the results of data collection is then analyzed using SWOT analysis to find out what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Kue Sapik Gula Aren as asupporting tourist attraction in South Solok Regency. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Kue Sapik Gula Aren has the strengths (1) it has a unique taste that comes from palm sugar (2) Kue Sapik Gula Aren can only be found in South Solok (3) has been certified halal from the MUI, and the opportunity (1) can be a support for new tourist attractions in South Solok Regency (2) promote traditional culinary (3) promote the economy of the surrounding community. With these strengths and opportunities, can take advantage of existing opportunities while minimizing weaknesses and also being able to overcome various kinds of threats from the Kue Sapik Gula Aren. Thus, this Kue Sapik Gula Aren can be used as a support for the tourist attraction of South Solok Regency.
