Introdução: A semiologia médica é uma área de estudo acerca dos sinais e sintomas que um paciente pode apresentar, que aborda o desenvolvimento da relação médico-paciente mediante o exame clínico e a anamnese. Dessa forma, a monitoria em semiologia médica se constitui de suma importância para o desenvolvimento de novas habilidades e de raciocínio clínico do corpo discente. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência desenvolvida na atividade de monitoria em semiologia médica. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, realizado a partir da vivência de monitoria de habilidades clínicas I (primeiro semestre) no segundo semestre de 2021 e no primeiro semestre de 2022. Discussão: A possibilidade do contato com a docência de habilidades clínicas permite aos monitores o aprimoramento dos conhecimentos em semiologia médica, acolhimento dos alunos de modo individualizado e a busca por novas experiências de qualificação acadêmica. Conclusão: A monitoria se mostra fundamental nesse processo de ensino-aprendizado da semiologia e contribui não só para o conhecimento dos discentes, como também para quem realiza a monitoria, constituindo um aprendizado de grande relevância durante o período acadêmico.
Introdução: O câncer de tireoide, embora represente apenas 1 a 2% de todos os cânceres, é o câncer endocrinológico mais comum, sendo o carcinoma papilífero o mais prevalente dentre os demais tipos histológicos, acometendo principalmente as mulheres (relação 3:1 em comparação ao sexo masculino). Embora atualmente o diagnóstico seja facilitado pelo uso das tecnologias e o prognóstico seja favorável na maioria dos casos, ainda assim, esse problema gera um impacto negativo na vida do paciente a ponto de reduzir sua qualidade de vida. Objetivo: Analisar o perfil social e epidemiológico em pacientes acometidos de câncer de tireoide atendidos em ambulatório. Método: Participaram da pesquisa 55 pacientes, que assinaram o Termo de Consentimento livre e esclarecido (TCLE), que responderam um questionário para a avaliação do perfil sociodemográfico, em uma pesquisa transversal, coletada no ambulatório de câncer de tireoide do Centro de Especialidades Médicas (CEMEC) do Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará (CESUPA). Resultados: A maioria dos pacientes foi do sexo feminino (89,1%), com idade entre 40 e 49 anos (30,9%) anos. Sendo o tipo de câncer mais comum o papilífero (96,4%), com menos de 5 anos de tempo de diagnóstico (45,5%). Todos os participantes da amostra (100%) já passaram por cirurgia, a maioria há menos de 5 anos (54,5%). Conclusão: Dessa forma, foi observada maior prevalência da neoplasia de tireoide em pacientes do sexo feminino, além da forma papilífera sendo mais encontrada entre os pacientes, além da ocorrência de interferência cirúrgica em todos os pacientes analisados.

A monitoria em semiologia permite aos acadêmicos a oportunidade de aprofundar seus conhecimentos, instigar o raciocínio clínico. Objetivo: Relatar experiência desenvolvida na atividade de extensão como monitora de Semiologia Médica. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, realizado a partir da vivência como monitoria de semiologia médica em um comitê de habilidades clínicas, no ano de 2019. Discussão: Através da experiência como monitora de semiologia médica pôde-se perceber uma melhora significativa na habilidade de raciocínio clínico, formulação de hipóteses diagnosticas e o aperfeiçoamento na realização de manobras, competências indispensáveis para um bom atendimento. Conclusão: Pode-se concluir que a semiologia médica é parte fundamental durante o atendimento ao paciente e, portanto, constitui-se um aprendizado de grande relevância durante o período acadêmico.
