En el 2020, México se enfrentó a la nueva enfermedad por coronavirus declarada como emergencia de salud pública de importancia internacional. En respuesta, durante el mes de marzo la Secretaría de Educación Pública y la Secretaría de Salud implementaron un conjunto de medidas para prevenir y contener la propagación del virus. Los objetivos son: identificar las acciones implementadas por el gobierno y analizar sus implicaciones pedagógicas, sociales y económicas. Se desarrolló un ejercicio cualitativo de tipo documental que permitió la localización, clasificación, selección, análisis y comparación de diversos documentos. Como resultado se identificaron tres acciones prioritarias y 20 medidas de atención primaria para su implementación en todo el territorio nacional. Se encontró que el cierre de las escuelas reveló un conjunto de desafíos para las autoridades educativas, el profesorado y las familias, en tanto la ejecución de estas medidas se configura en un entramado de circunstancias educativas, sociales y económicas que, en suma, profundizan la desigualdad educativa. Se concluye que escuelas y profesorado son agentes clave en la contención sanitaria, sin embargo, las condiciones de las escuelas y las características socioeconómicas de las comunidades definen la experiencia de prevención y confinamiento.
El presente artículo analiza la iniciativa de un grupo de docentes que buscó construir investigación colaborativa, entre una institución de educación superior y diversos centros escolares de educación obligatoria en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. El trabajo se basa en la Movilización del Conocimiento y en los principios de la investigación acción. A través del taller investigativo se describe la primera fase, que posibilitó constituir una red de agentes de cambio educativo y un banco de problemáticas que servirán de insumo para realizar proyectos de titulación.
Este ensayo plantea nuevos caminos para el análisis epistemológico de las mujeres profesoras y del trabajo docente desde una postura anti-positivista sustentada en el interaccionismo simbólico, en la hermenéutica y en los estudios de/desde las mujeres. Esta vinculación entre las mujeres y el trabajo existía en las sociedades pre-capitalistas, sin embargo, en las sociedades capitalistas ellas fueron excluidas del mundo laboral y segregadas en el espacio privado. Al salir de éste, al trabajar y al actuar, algunas mujeres han podido romper el silencio generado por todo un sistema de vida enmarañado por los intereses de los varones, quienes aún tienen poder sobre sus vidas, cuerpos, deseos y sentimientos. De esta forma, se reconoce que los métodos cuantitativos impiden al investigador/a presentar la diversidad de experiencias biográficas y habitus de las mujeres, reivindicar su lugar y especificidad en el mundo laboral y afirmar su propia personalidad.
Se emplea el método fenomenológico, la (micro)etnografía y el método biográfico bajo el paradigma comprensivo para dar sustento metodológico al análisis cualitativo del derecho al juego, el acceso a la educación y las condiciones del cuidado infantil de las niñas, niños y adolescentes (NNA) indígenas migrantes en la sierra limítrofe entre el estado de Chihuahua y el estado de Sonora, Norte de México. Así, se triangulan los resultados de la entrevista personal, las crónicas de experiencias laborales y la observación de las interacciones entre las NNA como fuente metodológica para aportar conocimiento sobre la irrupción que provocan la explotación laboral infantil, la falta de estimulación temprana o la exclusión de los procesos educativos sobre las tareas del desarrollo y formación integral de las NNA. Se pone mayor énfasis en la ausencia de una política migratoria integral desde el paradigma de justicia y no solo desde el discurso de los derechos humanos. Se coincide en la necesidad de una ley de migración indígena que garantice que las familias indígenas migrantes renuncien al nomadismo, evite la victimización bajo el estereotipo de grupo vulnerable y garantice la protección, la difusión de las tradiciones culturales indígenas y la inclusión social para que las NNA puedan tener una vida libre de violencia y una participación ciudadana completa (informada, consciente, acciones iniciadas por ellas/os y con decisiones tomadas con el apoyo de las autoridades). Es importante reconocer la importancia de que las políticas públicas para las NNA migrantes indígenas necesitan enfocarse la atención psicoconductual, el desarrollo emocional, la re-territorialización, los derechos humanos y, en específico, el derecho al esparcimiento y el juego.
El objetivo de este trabajo fue recuperar los significados en torno a la experiencia de tres generaciones de estudiantes de un posgrado en investigación educativa de la Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez frente al acontecimiento de la pandemia covid-19. El proceso investigativo cualitativo de tipo microetnográfico se realizó en tres momentos: aproximación al campo, recogida de información y análisis. Para la recogida de información se recurrió a tres técnicas: la observación participante, los diarios del investigador y el análisis de documentos. Este momento se desarrolló entre abril de 2020 y abril de 2021 con la intención de recuperar la experiencia estudiantil desde una mirada endógena, situada y plural. Para el estudiantado participante, covid-19 significó un punto de inflexión en la concepción sobre sí mismos (temporalidad); una oportunidad para comprender/se en el mundo (inteligibilidad); un suceso vital que afectó de formas diversas su existencia (experiencia), y una ruptura mediada por las emociones (dimensión emocional). Pese a las dificultades, el proceso de formación para la investigación educativa les permitió fortalecer diversos conocimientos, habilidades y marcos de referencia para investigar la realidad educativa en situaciones de emergencia. A partir de la experiencia analizada se reconoce a los estudiantes de posgrado como agentes disruptivos de su tiempo, su historia y de la realidad educativa que investigan; el anhelo es convertir la experiencia en aprendizaje personal y colectivo para actuar en escenarios de calma e incertidumbre.
