Personalidad: un recorrido por los principales conceptos desarrollados sobre el constructo Personality: a tour of the main concepts developed about the construct Recepción del artículo: 20-11-18|Aceptación del artículo: 28-12-18 Resumen l presente trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar un recorrido articulado acerca de los trabajos más importantes sobre la personalidad. Si bien se trata de una variable muy conocida, es -al mismo tiempo-una variable que refiere una estructura polisémica y, sobre la cual, aún no existe una idea unificada acerca de cómo debe ser tratada. Si bien esto último puede entenderse como parte intrínseca en cuanto a la naturaleza de la misma, es conveniente realizar desarrollos que traten de llegar a una idea en que se alcance una operacionalización unificada. En base a esto, se espera que el presente trabajo pueda dar cuenta de la cohesión de este constructo a partir de integrar distintas perspectivas.

Sin embargo, resulta difícil encontrar un modelo que refiera de forma unificada su significado. Partiendo de la idea que el procesamiento del tiempo es una función cognitiva, que permite organizar y dar coherencia a la vida de las personas, así como ha sido un factor primordial en la adaptación de la raza, y que su asimilación despierta el interés en hombre desde que existe la noción de tiempo, se pretende generar una revisión que permita a quienes investigan en la temática tener una idea general acerca de cómo se lo entiende, y que a la vez sirva para estructurar nuevos trabajos sobre el tema

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar un recorrido articulado acerca de algunos desarrollos relevantes acerca del mismo, para poder arribar a una idea integrada. Partiendo de la idea que, las habilidades cognitivo -contextuales permiten ordenar y organizar la vida de las personas, han sido un factor primordial en la adaptación de las sociedades y sus culturas, se pretende desarrollar un recorrido que permita a quienes las investigan tener una idea general acerca de cómo se las entiende, y que además permita estructurar nuevos trabajos sobre el tema
El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario de Perspectiva Temporal de Zimbardo, en estudiantes universitarios de Buenos Aires. Participaron 334 sujetos (68.6% mujeres, 31.4% hombres; Medad = 25.90, DEedad = 8.23), a quienes se les administró un protocolo integrado por una encuesta sociodemográfica y otra de datos académicos, el Inventario de Perspectiva Temporal de Zimbardo (Zimbardo & Boyd, 1999) y el Big Five Inventory – versión local adaptada por Castro Solano y Casullo (2001)-. A partir de un análisis de componentes principales, con rotación Varimax, se obtuvo una estructura compuesta de 35 ítems, distribuidos en siete dimensiones (KMO = .800; Bartlett: X2= 3459.355; 595 gl), que explicaron el 52.85% de la varianza total. Se encontró evidencia de validez concurrente en los análisis de correlación con las dimensiones de personalidad; para la consistencia interna se calcularon alfas de Cronbach que resultaron adecuados para cada uno de los factores, y estos resultados se corroboraron con el cálculo de alfas ordinales (dadas las características de los ítems), que arrojaron valores similares. También, en lo referido a la consistencia interna, se realizó una división por mitades, con la fórmula Sperman - Brown, y el resultado da cuenta de una relación estadísticamente significativa (p < .05), con un coeficiente de correlación fuerte (p = .000; = .946). Además, se analizó la estabilidad temporal y los resultados mostraron valores que sostienen dicha estabilidad. En función de estos resultados se cuenta con un inventario que dispone de las propiedades psicométricas esperadas, para ser utilizado en sujetos de características semejantes.
Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo validar la Escala de Habilidades Sociales de Gismero González (2002). Se trató de un estudio correlacional y explicativo, con un diseño no experimental, de corte transversal. Participaron 474 sujetos, (51.9% mujeres, 48.1% hombres; Medad=25.40, DEedad= 4.31). Se obtuvo una estructura compuesta de 22 ítems, distribuidos en 4 dimensiones: Autoexpresión en Situaciones Sociales, Expresión de Enfado o Disconformidad, Decir No y Cortar Interacciones, Hacer Peticiones, que explicaron el 35.18% de la varianza total. Se encontró evidencia de validez concurrente con las dimensiones de personalidad. Respecto de la confiabilidad, se halló consistencia interna adecuada para todas las dimensiones y para la escala total. Y para evaluar la estabilidad temporal se realizó un procedimiento de administración test / re-test, en el cual no se observaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ambas tomas. Respecto de la discriminación de los ítems, las frecuencias de respuestas para cada opción se hallaron variaciones en todos los casos. En función de estos resultados se observa que la escala cuenta con las propiedades psicométricas adecuadas para el uso en población adulta local.
