Enantio- and regioselective: The intramolecular enantioselective aminofluorination of unactivated olefins was achieved by using a chiral iodo(III) difluoride salt. A highly regioselective aminofluorination of styrenes to access 2-fluoro-2-phenylethanamines was also developed.
Regio-and Enantioselective Aminofluorination of Alkenes. -The intramolecular metal-free aminofluorination of unactivated alkenes works with aryl iodonium difluorides as the reagent. A lactate derivative such as BLI is used to induce chirality. An achiral version concerning the intermolecular process is also developed. -(KONG, W.; FEIGE, P.; DE HARO, T.; NEVADO*, C.; Angew. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
