A criança com TEA: o ingresso no ensino fundamental em meio a pandemiaThe child with ASD: entering elementary school amid the pandemic
ABSTRACT This study aims to discuss the use of Assistive Technology in Specialized Educational Service/AEE and the benefits in promoting learning for students with disabilities, since technologies are present in people's daily lives and consequently in the schools' daily lives. Based on the premise that little is known about TIC’s and their potential for use in addition to non-verbal students, this work aims to present some interventions performed in the AEE service of a municipal school over a semester with students with TEA and the impact on the teacher's work in both the AEE and the regular classroom. Based on the data collected, there is a lack of training on TIC’s and it is concluded that the interventions performed in the AEE specific services include the students' potential and, consequently, instruct the regular classroom teacher on how to use them in the classroom.
