This report is the fourth in a series of reports on the subject of home energy rating systems. These systems are designed to provide information on the relative energy efficiency of residential housing to housing consumers and professional people involved with residential housing. The principal focus of this report is on possible liability issues associated with implementation of a rating system. An introduction to the rating system concept is also included.
