A series of novel 5-(2-hydroxypropyl)amino-1,2,3-thiadiazole and 5-(2-hydroxypropyl)sulfanyl-1,2,3-triazole derivatives were designed and synthesized as candidate fungicides. The new compounds were identified by NMR and IR spectroscopy, mass spectro metry, and elemental analysis. Their antifungal activities were evaluated.
Reactions of (4 ethoxycarbonyl 1,2,3 thiadiazol 5 yl)hydrazones of acetophenone with PCl 5 led to transformation of the 1,2,3 thiadiazole moiety involving four atoms of the side chain to give 6 aryl 5H [1,2,3]triazolo[5,1 b] [1,3,4]thiadiazine 3 carbonyl chlorides. Reac tion of the latter with alcohols and amines gave the corresponding esters and amides.
The separation of trivalent rare earth metals is perhaps the most serious challenge associated with a closed fuel cycle. The choice of ligand as extractant, which must be selective and efficient in conditions of high radiation environment, plays an important role. In this review there are the main examples of extractants for f-elements used in the present 10-20 years.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
